It’s safe to visit our hospitals and clinics – in person and virtuallyYour patients’ illnesses and injuries don’t stop for a pandemic – and neither do we. We continue to evolve to safely meet the needs of our community. As we responsibly re-open clinics and restore non-urgent services that were temporarily postponed or closed due to COVID-19, we know you may have questions.

Our goal is to keep patients, visitors and health care providers safe, while caring for everyone who needs us – both in person and through expanded telehealth visits – and we have measures in place to do just that.

• Masks are required for patients, visitors and team members.• Patients and visitors are screened with temperature checks and questions about

symptoms.• Team members are asked to self-monitor for symptoms and stay home if they’re sick.• Patients are tested prior to surgeries, procedures and hospital admissions. • Appointments are spaced out so fewer people are in the waiting rooms.• Special cleaning and disinfecting processes are being used for patient rooms, waiting

rooms, equipment, bathrooms and everything in-between.• Modified visitation guidelines remain in place to limit the number of people in the

environment.• There are separate entrances at some locations for patients and visitors who are

experiencing symptoms and those who are not.• 6-foot markers on the floor ensure social distancing in appointment check-in lines.• Telehealth services for new and existing patients continue to limit in-person interactions

when appropriate.• We are collaborating with children’s hospital colleagues throughout the nation and

across the world to share data, research and best practices.
