The Three Phases of Building a Private Practice There are three phases of building your ideal practice. Phase One – The Stability Sprint • 0 - 10 Clients Per Week (on average). • Not making ends meet, or barely making ends meet. • No established reputation and network. Very few referrals coming in from networking contacts. • Not really sure how to organize your efforts each day. No clear strategy you believe in 100%. • If you’re working for an agency or group practice, you’re not happy with your situation. • Without steady mindset focus, it’s very easy to feel doubtful, scared, anxious. Phase Two – The Hustle to Full • You regularly see 10+ clients per week. • You’re stable, but you want to hit higher targets for clients, income, contribution, lifestyle. • Your network is growing, you have a base of happy clients, and organic referrals are starting to flow in. • You have honed your daily/weekly/monthly strategy and follow it without doubts or questions. • If you’re working for an agency or group practice, it’s by choice. • The stability of your situation strengthens your mindset, but your mindset can still slip. Phase Three – Your Ideal Practice • You regularly see 20+ clients per week (or whatever your target is). • Your practice is full of clients you love working with who get great results value what you offer them. • You have a strong network that sends you referrals regularly. • You focus mostly on your work in session and your systems run in the background. • You see as many clients as you want to see when you want to see them. • You’ve lived the truth of mindset and maintain and strengthen yours as a way of life.
