The “Andreasturm” will have approx. 20'000 m 2 of office space as well as additional space for retail stores and restaurants. As part of the foundation work a slurry wall is being built and the necessary bentonite slurry is being prepared with the help of an au- tomated Häny mixer of the type HCM 800. One silo is mounted on top of the mixing tank and the bentonite is fed through a rotary feeder into the Häny unit. A 3 - 4 % bentonite mix is prepared with the mixer. From the mixer the bentonite is transferred into the 4 storage silos installed right next to the mixing plant. Häny HCM 800 mixing plant with storage silos Slurry Wall

The construction company Implenia was awarded by “SBB Immobilien” to build the 80 m tall “Andreasturm” at the train station Zurich-Oerlikon.
