A separate application with Form 4 has been submitted parallely for the above amendment inconfiguration.

In addition to the amendments, Rungta Mines Limited (Kamanda Steel Plant) seeks capacityenhancement of (i) DRI, (ii) SMS, (iii) Billets/Slab/Bloom Caster, (iv) TMT/Round/Wire Rod/Flat/Structural/ others, (v) Pelletisation Plant and installation of a new Oxygen plant.

There will be no change in the (i) Beneficiation plant, (ii) Coal Washery, (iii) Coke oven plant, (iv)Captive power plant (WHRB & AFBC/CFBC) and (v) Ferro Alloy Plant.

The increase in production of DRI will be due to improvement of coal quality & consequentincrease in feed of Iron ore/ Pellet, which will increase capacities of the forward & backwardintegrated units in the Kamanda Steel Plant. Therefore, an enhancement in DRI, SMS, Billetscaster, Rolling Mill, and Pelletization Plant is being sought as given in Table 5.
