On behalf of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) DeKalb County
Branch, the Freedom Fund Committee, the students in the ACT-SO Achievement Program, our Veterans,
and our community advocates who depend on the NAACP DeKalb County’s support, we invite you to
join us in celebrating the 63rd Annual Freedom Fund Awards Gala. With your support—your investment in
our programs—NAACP DeKalb County will be able to keep academic programs strong and advocating
for political, educational, social, and economic equality for all citizens, as well as eradicating racial
injustice. The gala is scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the Courtyard Atlanta Decatur
Downtown/Emory.
This year’s theme is “THE PROMISE OF AMEREICA, IS NOT THE SAME PROMISE TO US”. The DeKalb Branch of
the NAACP has been faithfully serving the community for 64 years and is honored to recognize the
significant contributions of community leaders who represent our diverse DeKalb County population. This
festive evening of elegance and magic will feature, elected officials, public and private sector leaders, a
silent auction, dining, dancing, live entertainment and the President’s VIP Sponsor and Nominee Pre-Gala
Reception.
You will be joining a pre-eminent group of corporations, civic groups, religious leaders, educators and
individuals by participating in the sixty-third annual Freedom Fund Awards Gala at one of our premiere
sponsorship levels. Please take a few minutes to review the sponsorship opportunities included in this
package.

nomic and racial lines by supporting us in this very crucial time through the many partnership and spon-
