We are looking for exceptional Ex Military Personnel to join our new 26 week Internship Programme.

PlacementsWithin your 26 week Internship you will gain an understanding of how REED works as a business and if the busy world of recruitment is for you. The knowledge you gain will give you a clear understanding of our recruitment process, which is essential when recruiting highly sought after candidates for a multitude of disciplines.

In the 26 weeks you will:

• be fully trained on our internal databases• be trained on how to best utilise social media, such as LinkedIn and Facebook to improve the

prospects of developing a successful career• get a chance to take part in training courses with our prestigious learning and development team• the chance to shadow an experienced Recruitment Consultant as they go about their busy day

(Depending on availability)• screen and register candidates to ensure they are fully compliant and eligible to work within the UK. • be given training and experience using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internal Databases making you

a more marketable candidate

Where this is not possible, we are certain you will be better equipped to secure your own employment elsewehere.

Entry requirements:

• Ex Military background- this will be referenced • Right to work in the UK

• Geographically flexible

Recruitment processWe pride ourselves on an efficient recruitment process. Expect it to take approximately 2- 3 weeks from application to being offered a place on the Internship Programme.

Stage 1 - Application

No need for lengthy applications. We only ask you for the information we require in order to ensure you receive a fair assessment. Send us your up to date CV along with a short cover letter to [email protected]. Make your application stand out – take your time, check for spelling mistakes and describe why you’d be perfect for our Internship Programme.

Stage 2 - Telephone Screen

You will have a telephone conversation with an Ex-Military Internship Co-ordinator to determine your motivations and suitability for the role.

Stage 3 - Interview with one of our Managers

If successful at the telephone screening stage, you will meet with one of our Business or Area Managers face to face for a final strengths based interview.

If you are successful through all stages we will then be delighted to offer you a place on our Ex-Military Internship Programme.
