Dear Colleagues in the Book World,

I know a young woman who just turned thirteen. The dread teenage years! I was talking to her mom about that when an odd little thought struck me—here we are in the dread teenage years of the century. One minute we're excited, confident, poised to change the world. The next we’re beset by fears: of inadequacy to solve our problems—personal or global, fears that there won’t be enough, fears that things will change—well, yes they will. We’re collective teenagers on a steep learning curve—and yes we can make a difference, hold our own, live

in compassion. This catalog has a pretty amazing array of authors offering stories, skills, advice, tools to help us make our way.

There’s an adage that when you are ready the teacher will come. I have long loved the work of Stephen Levine, but had never published him. He sent me an email last year saying a mutual publishing friend thought Weiser should publish his latest book. We thought so too. See Becoming Kuan Yin on page 4. Then Jean Bolen phoned to say she’d unexpectedly written a new book. And so Moving Toward the Millionth Circle (p. 2) was born.

Sometimes there is something new under the sun. Eric Maisel has worked for years developing the psychology of meaning and Why Smart People Hurt (p. 6), the first book ever to use that psychology with the very real problems of people who might be prone to thinking too much and other stresses. And Karen Casey has written The Good Stuff (p. 10), the first book ever to look at growing up in a dysfunctional family in a new way—at the strengths and gifts we get. From Disinformation Books, the first ever anthology of poems about death and dying, Death Poems (p. 21) by noted collector of the odd, interesting, and unusual Russ Kick.

We have revered teachers from many traditions—The Showings of Julian of Norwich in a new translation by Mirabai Starr (p. 12). The Dalai Lama on What Matters Most (p. 5), from a long conversation with author Noriyuku Ueda. And animals—Bees Make the Best Pets (p. 14).

There’s more, always too much to tell you about in one letter. Our authors come to us in many ways, appearing as if by magic when the time is right.

That’s what Heather McCloskey Beck did at a workshop on publishing we gave, when Take the Leap (p. 15) was conceived. This book is about doing good by doing what you have passion for, something we are very lucky to be doing here at Red Wheel/Weiser. Twenty-thirteen—enjoy the ride!

About the AuthorJean Shinoda bolen, m.D., is a psychiatrist, Jungian analyst, activist, and an internationally known speaker and author of several books including Goddesses in Everywoman and Crones Don’t Whine. She was a recipient of the

Institute for Health and Healing's "Pioneers in Art, Science, and the Soul of Healing Award."

moving Toward the millionth Circle

Energizing the Global Women's Movement

Jean Shinoda bolen, m.D.“No one has done more than Jean Shinoda Bolen to awaken the global

heart... she continues to inspire and direct the spiritual uprising of women around the world.” —marianne Williamson

“I believe that heart-centered feminine activism can change the world, and I agree with Jean Bolen that now is the time to do it. In her book, she

describes how every woman can be supported by a circle of friends with a sacred center, and how circles multiply their spiritual and political energy

toward a tipping point.”—isabel Allende

In Moving Toward the Millionth Circle, psychiatrist, activist, and best-selling author Jean Bolen inspires women and others to follow a path with soul, to take on a personal assignment that contributes to change, while relying on the support of a circle or circles of like minded individuals. The metaphoric millionth circle is the tipping point into a post-patriarchal era, based on the premise that when a critical number of people change their perceptions and behavior, a new era can begin. The strength that comes from those circles feeds the activism and the activism makes the circles stronger. Moving Toward the Millionth Circle is about heart-centered activism.

Drawn from Dr. Bolen’s work with the UN and her experiences with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and women from all walks of life all around the world, this book is poetical, practical, and political.

LEVINE'S FIRST NEW BOOK IN YEARS SHOWS US A PATH TO COMPASSION

becoming Kuan YinThe Evolution of Compassion

Stephen Levine

Foreword by ondrea Levine

In his long career as a poet, Buddhist teacher, spiritual advisor, and writer, Stephen Levine has changed our understanding of death and dying. In Becoming Kuan Yin, Levine’s first new book in many years, he turns to the legend of Kuan Yin, the Bodhisattva venerated by East Asian Buddhists for her compassion.

In Becoming Kuan Yin, Levine shares the tale of Miao Shan, born centuries ago to a cruel king who wanted her to marry a wealthy but uncaring man. This is the story of how Miao Shan refused to follow the path her father had in mind and, instead, became Kuan Yin, the first acknowledged female Bodhisattva who watches over the dying and those who work with them.

Levine weaves together story and practice and helps readers discover their own infinite capacity for mercy and compassion under difficult circumstances. This book will have resonance for Kuan Yin's millions of followers.

"Becoming Kuan Yin follows her very difficult and remarkably beautiful path to Bodhisattva and ultimately completed Buddha nature. It is a semi-fictional tale composed of myth and the true nature of practice. She was Miao Shan, a gifted human being on an arduous merciful path, long before she came to be referenced as a celestial." —from the book

The Dalai Lama on What matters most

Conversations on Anger, Compassion, and Action

noriyuki ueda in conversation with His Holiness the Dalai Lama

In April 2006, the prominent cultural anthropologist Noriyuki Ueda sat down with the Dalai Lama for a two-day conversation. The Dalai Lama on What Matters Most is the result of that long and lively conversation in Dharamsala.

In this little book, the Dalai Lama explores what matters most in this life—from compassion, to the right use of anger, to the creation of a just society—with uncharacteristic candor.

The Dalai Lama on What Matters Most includes the Dalai Lama’s thoughts on:

• embracing anger to precipitate social change, • the role of competition in spiritual life,• conditional versus unconditional love,• soulless materialism, and• exercising self-restraint in his position of power.

This book offers a unique perspective on the Dalai Lama’s political and spiritual views. One of the real pleasures of this book is His Holiness’ uncharacteristic candor. “I’m not only a socialist, but also a bit of a leftist, a Communist.” In addition, it guides the reader through the complex reality of what it means to practice compassion in the here and now.

Why Smart people HurtA Guide for the Bright, the Sensitive, and the Creative

eric maisel “A smart person has a desire to think, a need to think, and an ability to think. But the nature of family, school, and work, the structure of society, and the proclivities of the people around her often conspire to put out her intellectual fire.” —from the introduction

The challenges smart and creative people encounter—from scientific researchers, genius award winners, to bestselling novelists, Broadway actors, high-powered attorneys, and academics —often include anxiety, over-thinking, mania, sadness, and despair.

Specifically, the challenges that smart people face, including:

• “racing brain syndrome”• living in an anti-intellectual culture• finding ideas worth loving• dealing with boredom and hypersensitivity• finding meaning in their lives and their work• struggling to achieve success

In Why Smart People Hurt, psychologist Dr. Eric Maisel draws on his many years of work with the best and the brightest to pinpoint these often devastating challenges and offer solutions based on the groundbreaking principles and practices of natural psychology.

His thoughtful strategies include using logic and creativity to cope with the problems of having a brain that goes into overdrive at the drop of a hat. With a series of questions at the end of each chapter, he guides the reader to create his or her own roadmap to a calm and meaningful life.

Why Smart People Hurt is a must-read for parents of gifted children as well as the millions of smart and creative people that are searching for a more meaningful life.

About the Authoreric maisel, ph.D., is the author of more than 40 books in the areas of creativity, psychology, coaching, mental health, and cultural trends. He is a psychotherapist and creativity coach, and writes for

Psychology Today and Professional Artist Magazine and presents workshops internationally. Visit him at www.ericmaisel.com.

meatonomicsHow the Rigged Economics of Meat and Dairy Make

You Consume Too Much—and How to Eat Better, Live Longer, and Spend Smarter

David Robinson Simon"Retail prices of meat and dairy have fallen steadily for decades, driven by producers’ practice of offloading their costs onto society. Thus, for each $1 of eggs, meat, fish, or dairy sold at retail, the system imposes $1.70 in hidden costs on consumers and taxpayers. One result of animal foods’ artificially low retail prices is that Americans eat twice the meat that the USDA recommends and three times the world’s per capita average, helping give us the world’s highest rates of obesity, cancer, and diabetes.” —from the Introduction

According to the conventional wisdom, factors like taste, dietary beliefs, and cultural traditions drive our decisions to buy animal foods. But the reality is that price plays a huge role in our eating choices as well. The alarming result of consumers watching their pocketbooks so carefully is that meat producers, who work hard to keep prices artificially low, are heavily responsible for driving demand.

Meatonomics is the first book to fully explore the murky economics underlying animal food production, and its revelations are shocking. Like Freakonomics, it demonstrates how seemingly bizarre economic forces impact our everyday lives—how we’re all subject to incentives no matter how counter-intuitive they may appear.

A persuasive manifesto, Meatonomics proposes concrete changes in social and tax policy that will help consumers save money, lose weight, improve health, and protect animals and the planet from abuse.

imhotep the AfricanArchitect of the Cosmos

robert bauval and Thomas brophy, phD“A few kilometers outside the modern city of Cairo, on a large, flat elevation at the edge of the Sahara overlooking the Nile, is the world’s very first architectural complex. Nearly 5000 years old, the centerpiece of this mindboggling complex is a huge stepped pyramid surrounded by strange temple-like structures. Aligned conspicuously towards the four cardinal directions, the whole mood of this strange place evokes, for lack of better words, 'sacred architecture' or, perhaps more aptly, 'sacred astronomy'.“ —from the introduction

In this ground-breaking book, Egyptologist Robert Bauval and astrophysicist Thomas Brophy uncover the mystery of Imhotep, an ancient Egyptian superstar, pharaonic Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Galileo, and Newton all rolled into one. Based on their research at the Step Pyramid Complex at Saqqara, Bauval and Brophy delve into observational astronomy to "decode" the alignments and other design features of the Step Pyramid Complex, to uncover the true origins and genius of Imhotep. Like a whodunit detective story they follow the clues that take them on an exhilarating magical mystery tour starting at Saqqara, leading them to temples in Upper Egypt and to the stones of Nabta Playa and the black African stargazers who placed them there.

Imhotep the African describes how Imhotep was the ancient link to the birth of modern civilization, restoring him to his proper place at the center of the birthing of Egyptian, and world, civilization.

Dysfunctional FamilyHow to Survive and Then Thrive

Karen CaseyIs there a silver lining to growing up in a dysfunctional family?

Bestselling recovery author Karen Casey looks at stories of people who grew up in dysfunctional families and “the good stuff” that can come from the experience. “Throughout my many decades in recovery rooms I have interacted with thousands of women and men whose journeys reveal, in detail, the harrowing history of dysfunction that has troubled their lives,” says Casey. “But what is also apparent in their stories is their eventual and quite triumphant survival, often against extreme odds.”

Casey interviewed more than 24 survivors of families rife with dysfunction; survivors who willingly shared their stories and came to realize they had, surprisingly, thrived as the result of their often harrowing experiences. In The Good Stuff from Growing Up in a Dysfunctional Family, Casey shares the stories and the skills these survivors developed to live more creative and fulfilling lives.

Tiny buddha's guide to Loving Yourself

40 Ways to Transform Your Inner Critic and Your Life

Lori Deschene, founder of Tiny buddhaMany of us know intellectually that we need to be good to ourselves if we want to be happy. But it feels so hard. We are simultaneously the harsh judge and the lost, scared child who wants to stop feeling judged. It becomes a vicious cycle. It only stops when we step outside ourselves and observe how we get ourselves stuck.

Tiny Buddha’s Guide to Loving Yourself from TinyBuddha.com creator Lori Deschene, shares 40 unique perspectives and insights on topics related to loving yourself, including: realizing you’re not broken, accepting your flaws, releasing the need for approval, forgiving yourself, letting go of comparisons, and learning to be authentic. Featuring stories selected from hundreds of TinyBuddha.com contributors, the book provides an honest look at what it means to overcome critical, self-judging thoughts to create a peaceful, empowered life.

This book combines all of the elements that made Deschene’s first book, Tiny Buddha, compelling—authentic stories (four in each chapter); insightful observations about our shared struggles and how to overcome them; and action-oriented suggestions, based on the wisdom in the stories.

Praise for Tiny Buddha:"How can we find happiness and peace — right now, right here? In her

engaging, thought-provoking book Tiny Buddha, Lori Deschene explores this enormous question." —gretchen rubin, author of The Happiness Project

The Showings of Julian of norwich

A New Translation

mirabai StarrA fresh and contemporary translation of one of the best loved and influential mystical texts of all time, The Showings of Julian of Norwich brings the message and spirituality of this 14th century mystic to 21st century readers.

Julian of Norwich, a contemporary of Geoffrey Chaucer, was an English anchoress in East Anglia. At the age of 30, suffering from a severe illness and believing she was on her deathbed, Julian had a series of intense visions of Jesus, which she recorded and then expanded on later in her life.

Her message for today's readers is simply this:

• She reveals the feminine face of the Divine and reminds us to see God there• All our failings are an opportunity to learn and grow; that they should be honored, but not dwelled upon.• God's love has nothing to do with love and retribution and everything to do with love and compassion.• In spite of all appearances, all is well.

About the AuthorDaughter of the counter-culture, mirabai Starr was born in New York in 1961 to secular Jewish parents. She has been an adjunct professor of Philosophy and World Religions at the University

of New Mexico-Taos since 1993. Mirabai speaks and teaches nationally and internationally on the wisdom of the mystics and contemplative practice. Photo credit: January Sadler

Full of fun facts, Mingo shares a potpourri of bee and bee-keeping trivia; practical tips and legend and lore. And here are just some of the reasons bees make the best pets:

• They don’t bark and whine all night if you leave them in the backyard. In fact, they rather prefer it. • Bees don’t demand petting, attention, or a food dish. They find their own food.• Bees greet you with honey for your toast and beeswax for your candles, not dead mice.• You will never be tempted to succumb to your worst self, dress your bees in funny costumes, and humiliate them on YouTube. • When bees pay attention to your plants, it's not to dig them up. They actually help them blossom, bear fruit, and thrive.• Bees don’t track mud, poison ivy, or fleas into your house. • Bees don’t have kittens.october

Horns of HonorRegaining the Spirit of the Pagan Horned God

Frederick Thomas elworthy

edited and introduction by raven grimassi

For the modern Pagan and Witchcraft community, horns play a major role as a symbol of fertility, power, and protection and yet there are few books that discuss the significance in a way that makes sense to a practicing Pagan.

In Horns of Honor, neo-pagan scholar and award-winning author Raven Grimassi updates one of the few classic texts on horns, Frederick Thomas Elworthy’s classic 1900 text, Horns of Honor. Grimassi has added a new introduction, footnotes, and commentary to make this extensive overview of animal horns in cultures across time, accessible to the Pagan community.

Horns of Honor examines the religious and ritualistic significance of horns in many cultures, the ancient reverence for horned gods, and the horn as a positive symbol.

This revived classic is sure to be welcomed by all in the Pagan community.

random Acts of Kindness by Animals

Stephanie LaLand

Foreword by Doris Day

“A uniquely memorable and inspiring gift for animal loversaround the world!” —Doris Day

The French poet, Theophile Gautier once asked, "Who can believe that there is no soul behind those luminous eyes?” And it’s true—if you have ever loved an animal.

Included are well-publicized stories, such as the gorilla that carried an injured child to safety, as well as the more obscure, like the German Shepherd who visited the grave of his deceased owner every day at the same hour. This sweet book also reflects human acts of kindness to animals. Edward Lear, author of The Owl and the Pussycat, built his new house as an exact replica of his old one to keep from traumatizing his beloved cat.

Republished with a new cover, Random Acts of Kindness by Animals proves that these are thinking creatures with real emotions—hardly news to animal lovers—and provides a window into the lives of some amazing critters!

“This book is a loving tribute to all creatures, great and small.”

—Tippi Hedren

The best of the equinox, Sex magick

Volume III

Aleister Crowley introduction by Lon milo DuQuette

“Unfortunately, the term, sex magick, has a somewhat lurid ring to it. It brings to mind visions of costumed orgies and pornographic acts of dramatic depravity. To the disappointment of many would-be magicians, however, sex magick is a demanding physical and meditative yogic discipline of the highest order.” —from the introduction

Sex Magick, the practice of utilizing sexual energy and sacred sex rituals as a potent force to reach higher states of consciousness, has been cloaked in secrecy for centuries, passed down as a Secret Doctrine through many esoteric orders, from the Knights Templar to the Rosicrucians, the Freemasons, and finally the O.T.O.

20th century English occultist, mystic, ceremonial magician, and O.T.O. leader Aleister Crowley believed that sexual magick was the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe. He dedicated the entire second half of his life to exploring its mysteries. Sex Magick presents the bulk of Crowley's written works on the subject including: The Gnostic Mass, Energized Enthusiasm, Grimorium Sanctissimum, Star Sapphire, Liber Ash, Liber Chath, and Liber Stellae Rubeae.

Sex Magick, is the third volume in Weiser’s The Best of the Equinox series, curated by scholar and U.S. Deputy Grandmaster General of the O.T.O., Lon Milo DuQuette, which offers the best of Crowley’s material from both in-print and out-of-print sources.

invisibilityMastering the Art of Vanishing

Steve richardsFrom Harry Potter’s famous cloak, to the secrets of the “Invisible Man,” popular culture has long been obsessed with the idea of becoming invisible.

Yet, the art of invisibility is one of the most closely guarded of all occult secrets. For centuries magicians and adepts have hinted at ways of achieving this seemingly impossible feat, but now these ideas have been brought together for the first time to form a complete manual on how invisibility can be accomplished.

Drawing on alchemy, Rosicrucianism, medieval magic, hypnotism, Einsteinian physics and yogic techniques, Steve Richards presents an authoritative and entertaining investigation into this extraordinary subject.

This book focuses on the most elusive and seductive of all magical powers, teaching readers the power of invisibility from an occult perspective.

THE HISTORY ON HOW-TO OF THE POWER OF INVISIBILITY.

The new view over AtlantisThe Essential Guide to Megalithic Science,

Earth Mysteries, and Sacred Geometry

John michell"One of the great seminal books of our generation."

—Colin Wilson

John Michell's highly controversial The View Over Atlantis was first published in 1969. This unrivaled introduction to megalithic science, earth mysteries, and sacred geometry was expanded and updated in The New View Over Atlantis in 1983. Now available in a fresh new package, this classic, seminal work offers an impressive body of evidence and arguments to support the theory that at one time, many thousands of years ago, there was a worldwide, highly sophisticated civilization that Plato referred to as Atlantis. Michell, one of the premier esoteric writers of the 20th century, reveals that ancient stone monuments and earthworks found around the globe are not randomly strewn, but are a well-executed system of psychic centers connected worldwide and used by the people of Atlantis. Michell also demonstrates the significant modern discovery of "leys," a mysterious network of straight lines that link the ancient places around the world. He carefully and thoroughly documents the research that points to these ancient sites as places of high magic.

"Put ley lines on the map, re-enchanted the British landscape and made Glastonbury the capital of the New Age."

—bob rickard, founder of The Fortean Times.

"Almost the founding document of the earth mysteries movement." —ronald Hutton

About the AuthorJohn michell (1933-2009) was an English writer who wrote more than 40 books exploring sacred geometry, earth mysteries, geomancy, gematria, archaeoastronomy, metrology, and sacred sites.

The Toltec Secret to Happiness

Create Lasting Change with the Power of Belief

ray Dodd

Foreword by don miguel ruiz, Jr.

“When you change what you believe, you change your story about yourself, and suddenly life becomes a beautiful dream. Ray Dodd will show you how.”

—don miguel ruiz, mD, author of The Four Agreements

Our deepest beliefs impact all aspects of our lives: our performance at work, attitudes about money, and how we conduct all our relationships.

In The Toltec Secret to Happiness, Ray Dodd shows how our beliefs can hold us back from realizing our deepest desires, and how to break through self-limiting boundaries by changing our beliefs.

This is the ultimate guide for teaching you to get what you want out of life by coming to terms with what you truly believe, and changing those deeply held beliefs that are preventing you from getting what you want and deserve.

Based on the Toltec path popularized by bestselling author don Miguel Ruiz, Dodd's personal teacher, The Toltec Secret to Happiness offers four simple steps for re-creating your life:

• Change any fear-based belief• Eliminate worry and negative self-talk• Choose happiness, even when things fall apart• Achieve true authority and personal power

For anyone interested in personal development and spirituality The Toltec Secret to Happiness offers an inspiring roadmap to living the life you want.

The Witches' Almanac, issue 33: mystic earth

Spring 2014 - Spring 2015

TheiticFounded in 1971 by Elizabeth Pepper, the art director of Gourmet magazine for many years, The Witches’ Almanac is a witty, literate, and sophisticated publication that appeals to general readers as well as hard-core Wiccans. At one level, it is a pop reference that will fascinate anyone interested in folklore, mythology, and culture, but at another, it is the most sophisticated and wide-ranging annual guide for the Wiccan enthusiast.

Modeled after the Old Farmers’ Almanac, it includes information related to the annual Moon Calendar (weather forecasts and horoscopes), as well as legends, rituals, herbal secrets, interviews, mystic incantations, interviews, and many a curious tale of good and evil. Although it is an annual publication, only about 15 percent of the content is specific to the date range of each issue.

The theme of Issue 33 (Spring 2014 – Spring 2015) is Mystic Earth. Also included are articles on Ganesha, graveyard dust, Italian cimaruta amulets, veiled witches, and the legend of the Wicker Man.

The Five Levels of Attachment

Toltec Wisdom for the Modern World

don miguel ruiz, Jr.

Foreword by don miguel ruiz

This is a book that picks up where The Four Agreements left off. Building on the principles found in his father’s bestselling book, Ruiz, Jr. explores the ways in which we attach ourselves inappropriately to beliefs and the world.

Ruiz explores the five levels of attachment that cause suffering in our lives. The levels are:

• Authentic Self• Preference• Identification• Internalization• Fanaticism

Accessible and practical, Ruiz’s exploration invites us to look at our own lives and see how an unhealthy level of attachment can keep us trapped in a psychological and spiritual fog. He then invites us to reclaim our true freedom by cultivating awareness, detaching, and discovering our true selves.

Living a Life of AwarenessDaily Meditations on the Toltec Path

don miguel ruiz, Jr. For the first time ever, the Toltec wisdom from the Ruiz family is bound together in a book of daily meditations.

Readers are invited to join don Miguel Ruiz, Jr. on a six-month journey of daily lessons that are designed to inspire, nourish, and enlighten adherents as they travel along the Toltec path.

Drawing on years of apprenticeship under his father and grandmother, don Miguel Ruiz, Jr. shares Toltec lessons on Love, Faith, Agreements, and most importantly: Awareness. The purpose of each meditation is to guide readers into a deeper understanding of his or her self, as well as the world in which we live.

In the introduction to the book, don Miguel Ruiz, Jr. reminds readers that progress on the Toltec path is not measured by the acquisition of things, status, or even ideas, but rather the complete and total realization that everything in the world is perfect, exactly the way it is at this moment.

“Love is accepting ourselves just the way we are, with all of our flaws and our ever-changing belief system. You are nothing else but who you are. You are not the person you were a year ago. You are not the person you will be in a year.

You aren't even the person you think you are. You simply are, and that must be enough.” —don Miguel Ruiz, Jr.

This book will have special appeal to those already familiar with The Four Agreements, The Mastery of Love, and The Fifth Agreement, as well as don Miguel Ruiz, Jr.’s own book, The Five Levels of Attachment.

The New Science of Astrology: Discover Who You Really Are

Karen CurryThis is a revolutionary book that explains in simple and direct language the basic principles and uses of the Human Design astrological system.

The system, created in the mid-20th century by the late spiritual teacher Ra Uru Hu, is an astonishingly accurate personality guide that helps you understand your unique personality type. It is also a system that:

• Reveals your unique potential• Provides a clear picture of your ideal life partner• Enables you to make more informed and better life decisions• Guides you to finding your ideal career and realize your highest potential

Curry explains and defines each level of Human Design from a basic understanding of the chart, to a deeper understanding of how every line, intersection, and symbol correlates to a personality trait that directly affects one’s life. Through the analysis of a person’s individual Human Design chart, they can see what their strengths, weaknesses and quirks are—as well as identify repetitive difficulties that they might encounter throughout their lives—and with author Karen Curry’s assistance find a way to overcome them.

This is a book that will appeal to fans of popular astrology, to folks who are interested in personal typology books (enneagram, Meyer-Briggs, archetype books),and to those familiar with the Human Design system, but have found the available books impenetrable.

The gridExploring the Hidden Infrastructure of Reality

marie D. Jones and Larry FlaxmanThe examination of parallel universes, wormholes, and extra dimensional portals might sound like the beginning of a Ray Bradbury novel—but this isn’t science fiction.

In The Grid: Exploring the Hidden Infrastructure of Reality, authors Larry Flaxman and Marie D. Jones present their theory of The Grid—the pattern by which all of reality is built upon and structured around.

Using evidence from quantum theory as well as support from many religious and spiritual traditions, The Grid hypothesizes that, like a skyscraper, reality is constructed in a rising grid pattern, layer upon layer, with doors, windows, stairs and other “connectors” between levels of reality, and theorizes that we may be able to use these connectors to access other planes of reality.

With illustrations to demonstrate the true, hidden nature of reality, and examples pulled from both science and many major religions, The Grid: Exploring the Hidden Infrastructure of Reality examines the evidence for the author’s theory, and presents an explanation for the interconnectivity of all of existence.

uses the wisdom from science and challenges our thoughts on religion while reminding us of true spirituality. His approach leads us in a new view of how

consciousness and science are related.” —Deepak Chopra

“I very much enjoyed reading Fred Alan Wolf’s Time Loops and Space Twists: How God Created the Universe. That is quite a feat.”

—David Kaiser, Associate Professor and Lecturer, MIT

In his most important book since Taking the Quantum Leap, Fred Alan Wolf, PhD., will explain how our understanding of time, space and matter have changed in just the last few years, and how with these new ideas we have a glimpse into the “mind of God.”

Making comparisons to Hindu Vedic and Judeo-Christian cosmology, Dr. Wolf explains how the universal command of the Deity “Let there be light” now takes on a new scientific meaning: Everything is literally made of light and the reader will learn how Quantum Physics proves this is so.

planetary AspectsAn Astrological Guide to Managing Your T-Square

Tracy marks A classic back in print, Planetary Aspects is one that every astrologer would choose on their shortlist for their own library and a great tool for all levels of astrological practice.

This comprehensive work focuses on the most challenging dynamics of the birth chart. About the Authorguy needler MBA, MSc, CEng, MIET, MCMA initially trained as a mechanical engineer and quickly progressed on to be a chartered electrical and electronics engineer. Throughout this earthly training he was always aware of the greater reality around him, catching glimpses of the worlds of spirit, including constant contact with other entities within our multiverse and his higher self and guides. It is the channeling that has resulted in the production of his work.

CHANNELED MESSAGES FROM THE SOURCE ENTITIES

beyond the Source: book 2Communications with the Co-Creaters

guy Steven needlerIn Beyond the Source—Book 1 Guy Steven Needler detailed his extended dialogue with our Source Entity, now identified as Source Entity One, and commenced dialogue with Source Entities Two through Six, also created by The Origin.

During these dialogues he gained insights into the wonders and workings of the environments they created, establishing what entities inhabited their environments and how the Source Entities themselves were constructed.

This new book, Beyond the Source—Book 2, concludes these dialogues by focusing on the final six Source Entities, Seven through Twelve.

The information channeled is clearly a progression from that gained in Book 1 and presents new information and concepts about that which exists beyond our multiverse.

Beyond the Source—Book 2 reveals information that is radical in nature and is aimed at expanding mankind’s collective incarnate consciousness, facilitating evolutionary progression. Indeed, after reading this book, no one should question the purpose of our existence.

numerical Thinking50 Brain-Training Puzzles to Change the Way You Think

Charles phillips

In the twenty-first-century world—despite the availability of calculators on smart phones and computers —we all frequently need to be able to think confidently about numbers. Whether you’re discussing percentages in a business deal, weighing up interest rates with a financial adviser, or even discussing sports averages, doing a little mental arithmetic is very often the key to appearing smart while thinking on your feet. Yet many of us lack confidence with numbers—perhaps because we were put off mathematics at school and decided we were “no good” at it.

Numerical Thinking is a must for the digital age, and these 50 puzzles will foster key skills in managing figures and building confidence with numbers.

objective Thinking50 Brain-Training Puzzles to Change the Way You Think

Charles phillips

To make good decisions, to judge between well-balanced options, even to know what we want, we need to learn how to think objectively. To learn how to think objectively we have to be able to focus on the evidence, weigh up alternatives, see connections quickly and clearly—and avoid being distracted by subjective concerns such as our desire to be right or to fit in with others, or our fear of causing offense. Objective thinking opens a pathway to self-reliance and independence of mind.

Use these 50 puzzles for objective thinking to foster mental clarity, attention to detail, coolness in a crisis, speed of connections, and sharpness of thought.

About the AuthorCharles phillips is the author of more than 20 books and a contributor to more than 25 others, including The Reader's Digest Compendium of Puzzles & Brain Teaser (2001). Charles has investigated Indian theories of intelligence and consciousness in Ancient Civilizations (2005), probed the brain's dreaming mechanism in My Dream Journal (2003), and examined how we perceive and respond to color in his Color for Life (2004). He is also a keen collector of games and puzzles.
