GRAPE VARIETIES = 70% Sauvignon Blanc 30% Semillon

COLOUR = Pale straw.

BOUQUET = The bouquet shows kaffir lime leaf, tropical and fresh

cut citrus characters.

PALATE = The Goose SBS is an easy drinking, fresh and fruity wine.

Full of bright textural flavours and a crisp mouth feel.

CELLARING POTENTIAL = Enjoy now.

FOODMATCH = Chicken salad and seafood.

WINEMAKING = The Goose Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is made to

express the positive attributes of the premium vineyards. The

premium parcels are fermented individually in stainless steel

fermenters over 10 days to capture optimum varietal flavours. The

wine is left on yeast leaves for 30 days prior to blending. This style of

winemaking provides greater texture and mouthfeel.

GRAPE VARIETIES = Sangiovese.

COLOUR = Pale pink.

BOUQUET = The Goose Island Rose is an aromatic style, capturing

the essence of fresh strawberries and raspberries.

PALATE = The palate delivers a delicious balance of strawberries

and cream. This wine is made to a soft dryer style with integrated

minerality and very little tannin. The Goose Island Rose is a fresh,

crisp and vibrant wine for all occasions.

CELLARING POTENTIAL = Enjoy now.

WINEMAKERS COMMENTS = The Goose Island Rose is made to

express the positive attributes of Serafino’s premium estate vineyard.

The Rose is made to a natural winemaking process incorporating

minimal intervention. A premium parcel of juice is run – off from a

selected Sangiovese ferment to capture the optimum colour and

flavour profile to suit our vibrant and crisp style Rose. The juice is

then fermented individually in a stainless steel fermenter over 10 days

where it develops structure and complexity. This wine does not see

any oak treatment as we aim to capture every essence of the fruit

available. We bottle the Rose within a few months of completing

fermentation to gain the full benefits of its drink now style.

COLOUR = Bright red with purple hue.

BOUQUET = This Cabernet Sauvignon displays a lifted bouquet of

red berry fruits and spice.

PALATE = This Cabernet Sauvignon has purity of fruit and freshness

of flavor, with mint, black pepper, sage leaf, black currant and black

cherry complemented by fine supple tannins.

CELLARING POTENTIAL = Enjoy now or cellar up to 2020.

FOODMATCH = Your favorite lamb and black olive dishes.

VINEYARDS = The fruit is sourced from a combination of our Estate

grown vineyards including Communication and Little Road vineyards

in McLaren Vale, South Australia.

WINEMAKING TECHNIQUES = Matured in 3 year old hogsheads,

American oak 50% and French oak 50%.

WINEMAKERS COMMENTS = The fruit is destemmed and

fermented in a combination of stainless steel and open fermenters

using selected yeast strains. The ferments remained on skins for a

period of 8 days in order to keep the tannins soft and supple and the

fruit bright and fresh. Post ferment the wine is pressed and allowed to

undergo malolactic fermentation in tank. After malolactic

fermentation, the wine is racked to seasoned French and American

oak hogsheads (300L) for a period of nine months.

BOUQUET = This Shiraz has a lifted bouquet of red berry fruits, spice

and oak.

PALATE = The purity of this Shiraz and freshness of flavor, we believe

this wine over delivers with flavours of dark plums, spice and a long

lingering palate complemented by fine supple tannins.

CELLARING POTENTIAL = Enjoy now and up to 2020.

VINEYARDS = The fruit was sourced from a combination of our Estate

grown vineyards including Malpas and Little Road vineyards in McLaren

Vale, South Australia.

BOUQUET = Montepulciano has a bouquet of lifted red fruit and

blueberries.

PALATE = This exciting variety displays bright energetic red fruits, with

soft elegant spices and long persistent tannins. “This wine tastes like

purple”.

CELLARING POTENTIAL = To be enjoyed now or cellar for 5 years.

VINEYARDS = The wine is made from fruit grown in our Malpas Road

Vineyard.

WINEMAKERS NOTES = The fruit was harvested in the cool of the day

to preserve the fruit flavours and aromas. Fermentation took place in

small open fermenters at moderate temperature, 20 – 28 Degrees C.

The fruit was gently extracted to give a soft round, flavorsome palate.

BOUQUET = Complex nose with black fruits and quality oak seamlessly fused, with some

hints of chocolate.

PALATE = Cabernet Sauvignon fruit is enhanced by integrated quality oak. The flavours

linger with the even tannin finish.

CELLARING POTENTIAL = Enjoy now and until 2030.

FOODMATCH = Lamb roast and red meat dishes.

VINEYARDS = The Cabernet Sauvignon fruit is sourced from our Little Road and Malpas

Road blocks in McLaren Vale.

WINEMAKERS NOTES = Once destemmed the grapes are fermented in small 4 tonne

open fermenters. The temperature and extraction are monitored over a 7 day fermentation

period. Tannin and colour extraction is achieved through regular pump overs of the

fermentation cap. The wine is then pressed and allowed to finish the malolactic

fermentation prior to spending up to 1 year in new and 1 year old French and American

oak hogs heads.

Shiraz red fruits and fine grained tannins. Elegant oak integrates

harmoniously with the dark berry fruits, providing a full flavoured wine with

layers of flavour and texture.

JAMES’S COMMENTS = Deep bright purple, the bouquet and medium to

full – bodied palate sings loud and clear from the same page, with

blackberry and plum fruit skillfully enshrined in fine, ripe tannins, plus a

nudge of oak. There is a harmony a completeness, to the wine that means it

is totally open – ended, its drinking window without boarders.

with chocolaty aroma and abundant soft tannins. A deep, rich, luxurious

wine which is drinking well now and will cellar gracefully for many years.

CAMPBELL’S COMMENTS = McLaren Vale Shiraz with a twist.

Toasty, smoky oak is a clear and important part of the wine’s shtick but

sweet, plum like fruit is more than up to the task. This cuts a pretty good

groove, it’s a rich red but its not without elegance. Indeed spicier, more red

– berried notes add lift and energy. Its not at all heavy. Its not even

especially dark in the glass, and yet it doesn’t leave you wanting. Kudos.

BOUQUET = The aroma of blackberries and orange blossom.

Plentiful heady perfume.

PALATE = Bright red fruit flavours fill the palate, with a silky texture

and subtle tannins extends the palate. Lots of juicy red fruit with

florals of lavender and cabbage rose. Wrapped in a soft oak

treatment cuddle. Long raspberry, deep warm strawberry with a touch

of savoury black fruit complexity. Highlights of nougat and rosewater.

Mouth watering acidity with super fine tannins. Balanced, poised,

concentrated and polished.

CELLARING POTENTIAL = Enjoy early when bright and vibrant, or

cellar up to 2022.

FOODMATCH = Suckling pig and roasted vegetables or game dishes

such as, rabbit, quail and pigeon.

Is holding onto the bright hue of youth very well, a great example of a

wine with a massive drinking window, from now until 20 years from

vintage, the balance of its structure and flavour is impeccable, its silky

PALATE = This is a full bodied, rich and intense Shiraz with powerful red

berry fruits and minted chocolate. Lifted spice intertwines with silky tannins

that carry a generosity of fruit sweetness and exquisite length across the

palate. The brightness of fruit is long and textured with seamless integration

of oak finishing with a savoury earthy chocolate richness. This is an

outstanding wine from a fantastic vintage.

CELLARING POTENTIAL = With double – decanting this beautifully

structured wine is approachable now or will reward with cellaring. Drink up to

2030.

VINEYARDS = This wine is made from fruit sourced from our Sharktooth

block in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The vineyard is just 3km along the

Shiraz walking trail to the South of the winery.

OAK TREATMENT = Matured in 60% French and 40% American seasoned

oak barrels.
