Using a pencil, draw a straight line from corner to corner on the wrong side of the brown D squares. With right sides together (RST), place a brown D square onto a light E rectangle. See diagram 4.Sew on the pencil line and trim leaving a ¼” seam allowance.Press to the dark. See diagram 5.Repeat, adding a dark blue B square onto the light E rectangle, sew and trim. See diagram 6. Repeat for a total of 4 identical flying geese block units.

Sew 4 A/C half-square triangles together into 2 rows. Press as indicated.Sew the rows together to create a pinwheel block unit. See diagram 7.
