Definitions
• Black Water–water from toilets and urinals
• Grey Water– untreated water from showers, sinks, and clothes washers – new rules have been put in place
• Reclaimed/Reuse/Recycled Water– highly treated effluent that meets or exceeds stream standards

When can I water?• 7 days a week• Not from 10 am – 8 pm• During Drought Stages
– Must be 100% recycled water– SAWS will check– Must have signage– Irrigation systems must be
registered. Fountains should be – the new ordinance will require it.
Can I still receive a citation?• Yes, for the following…

– Watering between 10 am and 8 pm
