AC-input
• Input voltage: 230V ± 15 %, 47 - 63 Hz
• Power factor: > 0,98 at nom. load
• Efficiency: 82 - 90 % depending on
the output voltage
• mains input fuse
•soft start
DC-output
• 4 possible output voltages
• constant power characteristic with current limiting
• output voltage accuracy < 0,5 %
• ripple < 0,05 % eff
• phosmetric noise voltage ≤ 1 bzw 2 mV acc.to CCITT
• short-circuit-proof
• parallel switchable
• blockable equalizing• automatic charging possible
• output relay for "power failure"
• output relay for "common alarm"
General
his rectifier range is suitable for boost and float-charging
of stationary installations. The low power ranges, are also
suitable for charging starter-batteries for diesel motors or gas
turbines.
Because the ADC has a very low output ripple current, it is ideal-
ly suited to be used with sealed batteries. The ADC can also be
connected to loads without batteries because of its excellent
dynamic performance.
These units can be supplied as a wall-mounted version (see pic-
ture 3) or as module (see picture 2) in a 19" plug-in version (see
picture 1).
Integrated function
he ADC is equipped with an active filter for sinusoidal
current consumption on the mains input. Using this tech-
nology a power factor of nearly 1 can be reached. This means
that only actual power is taken from the supply to feed the ADC.
The output is accurate, with constant power characteristic and
equipped with 3 different voltage levels as well as a current
limiting.
For optimizing the battery service life of sealed batteries tempe-
rature compensated charging voltage regulation is possible.
The unit is cooled with a fan which is temperature controlled
and superviced by a max. temperature guard.

Monitoring functions
• mains fault
• rectifier fault
• monitoring of the adjusted constant voltage
• fuse alarm
• over temperature alarm
battery temperature monitoring with compensation charging
(temperature sensor necessary)
Standard display CL 20 (see picture 4)
The display unit is microprossesor controlled and supplied via
DC-DC-converter from the output voltage during mains failure
from the battery.
• push button for ON/OFF with LED indication
• push button for boost with LED indication
• push button for reset
• LCD display with push button and LED’s for indication of out-
put voltage and current also the adjusted limits• LED "operation"
• LED "Failure"
• LED "voltage deviation"
