AFTER LORD WRIOTHESLEY WAS GRANTED THE MANOR IN 1547, THEESTATE THEN PASSED THROUGH THE GODSON, BATHURST, GOODYER,ST JOHN AND MILDMAY FAMILIES.

THE TWENTIETH CENTURY SAW THE ESTATE BECOME A BILLETING FOR

Hidden among the woodlands of Dogmersfield Park isthe new Highwire Adventure. This exhilarating tree-top challenge for thrill seekers of all ages and abilitiesfeatures both high and low rope course, adrenalinpumping zip wire and a sensational ‘Power Fan’.

With 24 high and 17 low rope elements to challengeyour head for heights, you will be balancing acrossbridges and traversing through the trees at heights ofup to 13 metres. If swinging through the canopies isn’tadventurous enough, add to the thrill with ‘TheDescent’, a breath-taking 235 metre zip wire or trythe ultimate free-fall experience with ‘The PowerFan’, a hair-raising parachute simulator.

Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire has alake on the property’s Estate, known asBelvedere Pond. From tranquil fishingfor one to organising a group activityfor up to 15 people over fiveplatforms, we are delighted to offertrout and pike fishing on this 11thcentury lake.

Fishing is on a catch and release basisand is offered daily from 09:00hrs –sundown throughout the year.

We are fortunate to have the Basingstoke Canalrunning through the Estate. Steeped in history, thecanal offers picturesque routes for walks, jogs or bikerides along the towpath. where World War Ifortifications can be spotted along the way. TheWaterwitch Walk (3 miles) and The Barley Mow Loop(4 miles) both offer wonderful walks and tempting

Local resident and successful author Rus Slater, isdelighted to offer accompanied walks on the bywaysand towpaths surrounding the Hotel. Upon arrival, each child will receive a personalinvitation to join Hampshire’s Kids For All Seasonsprogramme, the Hotel’s organised children’sprogramme. Children are introduced to their newfriends and to the Four Seasons team who willsupervise activities. Children’s activities may include games, crafts, readingstories, watching movies and cartoons, touring theEquestrian Centre, kite-flying, football, frisbee, ortreasure and scavenger hunts. ‘The Laverstoke’ CocktailTo re-create it, squeeze two lime wedges into a largewine glass and add 10mls Bottlegreen elderflowercordial, 15mls Martini Bianco & 50mls BombaySapphire then swirl to mix. Followers of fourlegged fashion will be able to purchase a selection ofdog accessories from the hotel’s boutique. DOG SITTING TARIFF PER HOUR

Minimum 3hrs duration £15.00

All cancellations must be notified a minimum of 24 hours prior toconfirmed booking time in order to avoid charge. Cancellationsreceived within 24 hours of confirmed booking time will result in100% charge.

The Hotel is prepared to accommodate your pet in the room providedthat your pet is no larger than a full grown Labrador, and that they arefully house trained and is at least 6 months of age.

We regret that pets are not allowed in any areas serving food orbeverages, nor are they allowed in the Spa or Pool areas of the Hotel.This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs. Full details of our PetPolicy can be obtained from Reception.
