To Whom It May Concern,

This letter is my personal recommendation for Phuong Thi Minh PHAM. Until just recently, I

have been Phuong’s immediate supervisor for several months. I found her to be consistently

pleasant, tackling all assignments with dedication and a smile. Phuong and I discussed her recent

decision to pursue graduate study and I support her decision.

I have worked with Phuong for three months. Specifically, as her supervisor who helped her to

finish her internship at BHD limited company. Over the time that I have known Phuong, she has

consistently performed her duties with competence. During her summer internship, her daily job

was keeping track of the evolution of each TV show’s newscasts, especially for the Vietnamese

version of the American Idol TV show and the Vietnamese version of the Amazing Race TV

show. I often relied on Phuong to put together media strategies. In these, she described and

outlined the PR concepts for each episode. Her creativity and ability to ascertain what the

audience wanted really made these episodes distinctive.

Phuong is a good problem solver. Although she had not studied in the communications and

media field, she still can look for the most sensible way of settling a problem with her

management skills. Phuong finished a good report for one of our official telecommunication

partners. Moreover, her work ethic is unmatched. Thinking of the care and attention she gives

her job, I can imagine how her commitment and positive attitude will serve her well in college.

While Phuong’s leaving our company to attend graduate school is a loss to us, I have every

confidence that she will thrive in a graduate school setting. Phuong is an intelligent, committed,

and inquisitive individual. I believe that she will be an asset to your program.
