RECOMENDACIONES

Las unidades de punzonado se han diseñado para trabajarcon un determinado ángulo. Cualquier var iac ión de esteángulo, por pequeño que sea, puede ocasionar un desgasteprematuro de la unidad.

Cuando la unidad de punzonado lleve placas intercambiablesde bronce con graf i to insertado, se recomienda que sereal i ce una lubr i cac ión per iódica de éstas con ace ite delubricación l igero.

Cuando se sust i tuyan las p lacas desgastadas por otrasnuevas es prec iso ver i f i car que e l as iento de todas laspiezas sea correcto y realizar su ajuste si fuese necesario.

Se deben respe ta r l o s va lo res de fue r za máx ima depunzonado, según la hoja de características de cada unidady colocar los esfuerzos dentro del cabezal de la unidad lomás centrados posible. No se permiten expansiones de lasuperfic ie del cabezal.

Se deben evitar esfuerzos laterales.

Tanto l os resor tes de esp i ras como los de gas es táncolocados en la unidad para garantizar que la unidad vuelvea su pos i c ión in i c ia l , no para desenc lavar los út i les detrabajo de la matriz.

Se debe ev i ta r que ca igan sobre l a un idad v i ru tas op a r t í c u l a s q u e p u e d a n d a ñ a r l a s s u p e r f i c i e s d edesl izamiento.

Se recomienda que se trabaje con un ajuste l igeramentedu ro pa ra ga ran t i za r l a r epe t i t i v i dad de l a un i dad .

Las uñas de retorno seguro son un sistema de seguridadpara garant izar que la corredera recupere su pos i c ióninic ial en caso de un trabamiento, no como procedimientohabitual de trabajo.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION

Punching units have been designed to work with a certainangle. Any variation of this angle can cause a prematuredamage of the unit.

When the cam unit is mounted with interchangeablebronze plates, we recommend lubrication with light oilon a regular basis.

When replacing the worn plates by new ones it is necessaryto verify that the seat of all pieces is correct and to maketheir adjustment if necessary.

Maximum force values must be observed according tothe catalogue sheet. Effects must be concerted on the shafthead surface.

Side efforts must be avoided.

Both coil and gas springs are placed in the unit to garanteethat the unit returns to its starting point, and no to extractthe unit in the die.

Avoid particles and punchings that can damage slidingsurfaces.

It is recomended that the cam unit works with strongadjustment in order to guarantee the repetitive work ofthe unit.

Safe return nails are a security system to guarantee thatthe sliding return basic to its initial position in case ofbonding, not as an usual procedure.

Se recomienda la reparación o sustituc ión del resorte degas segun la hoja de condiciones de util izacion del resortede gas.

Se recomienda una reserva de car rera de l 10% ( Verc ond i c i o ne s de u t i l i z a c i ó n de l o s r e so r t e s d e ga s ) .

Modificattion of any piece of the punching unit withoutAzol´s consent might represent loosing guaranty.

Repair or replacement of gas spr ings is advisableaccording to the specification sheets and operatinginstructions.

A 10% stroke lenght allowance is recommended ( seeconditions of use of the gas springs ) .

From may 2001, on the standard Azol-Gas cam units,we perform a quality step ahead, giving our customersthe chance to get these cams with some improvementsthat will for sure extend their working life.

We substitute the sliding steel parts to bronce with graphiteand also we substitute the spring to a gas springs.

PECULIARIDADES

1) Las unidades podrán trabajar desde el primer momentotras ser amarradas.

2) Todas las piezas móvi les no requieren mantenimientopor llevar lubricantes sólidos incorporados, lo que descartade antemano molest ias ta les como "agarrotamiento" o"gr ipado" , con lo que se puede t raba jar durante largotiempo y sin fal los.

3) En cuanto a la estructura, los modelos se basan en lostipos de caja o en los tipos en T, los cuales se caracterizanpor la gran duración efectiva.

4) El molde retorna de nuevo sin dificultad alguna - inclusoen el caso de que se agarrote la chapa - gracias al montajede un sistema de retorno forzado.

OUTLINE OF HORIZONTAL CAM UNIT

Press die cam have been a difficult and time-consumingpart of die manufacturing due to factors such as complicatedstructure of dies, increasing number of die components,long lead-time and lubrication problems on sliding surfaces.

Now, our cam units have solved these poblems.You will certainly find better quality and easier maintenancein our cam unit products to your fullest satisfaction.

Anyway, AZOL-GAS, S.A. strongly recommens an aditionalgreasing as a mesure of life increasing.

FEATURES

1) Cam units will start functioning when directly attachedto die.

2) Solid lubricants embedded in the sliding surfaces ofcam units assure that dies function without lubricationfor prolonged periods, without troubles such as "seizure"or "galling" occurring.

3) The unit is T - shaped with high rigidity and durability.

4) Positive return function brings a cam slider to itsoriginal position even if a panel sticks to a die.
