Current Status in respect of WP(C) No. 3790/2013 and

CM Appl. 7079/2013 – in the matter of Recognition of Sections A & B examinations of IEI by MHRD

The above Writ Petition, filed by IEI in Delhi High Court on 27 May 2013,

came up for fourth hearing on 23 Apr 2014.

The Counsel for the AICTE and UGC (represented by the same Counsel)

prayed for further time to file counter affidavits. They have been granted

four weeks time and the matter has been adjourned to 31 Jul 2014. It will

come up before the Joint Registrar for completion of pleadings after which it

will be placed before the Court for arguments. Thereafter, the Court will

decide the date of hearing. The interim orders will continue.
