students completing the IB Diploma Programme

who apply for admission by February 15.

Selection is based on academic achievement.

Guaranteed Entrance ScholarshipsUP TO $3,000You will automatically be considered for a

Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship when you

apply for admission, based on your predicted/

anticipated IB score. If your final score is higher,

your scholarship amount may increase, as well!

International Excellence AwardsUP TO $10,000International students entering the University of

academic achievement. To be considered, you

must apply for admission before Feb 15.

Best and Brightest Entrance ScholarshipsUP TO $40,000Apply for admission by Dec. 1 and apply for

these awards by Dec. 15 to be considered.

Selection is based on academics and/or

leadership and contributions to school and

community life.

Competitive Entrance AwardsUP TO $32,000Apply for admission by Feb. 15 and apply

for these awards by Mar. 1 to be considered.

These awards include numerous scholarships

and bursaries that can be accessed by

many students with diverse experiences.

Applicants can be considered based on

academic achievement, financial need and/

or contributions to school and community

life, and some awards recognize particular

backgrounds, acknowledge contributions to

certain clubs and/or reward achievement in

music and athletics. All entering students are

Students completing the IB Diploma Programme are considered for admission based on a total

score out of 45 possible points. Completion of the IB Diploma Programme also meets uSask’s English

language proficiency requirement for admission.

ADMISSION

*Pending approval, Mathematics HL or Further Mathematics SL may no longer be required for entry into the College of Engineering. Mathematics SL would replace this requirement. Mathematics Studies would not be eligible to replace this requirement. Visit admissions.usask.ca/requirements for more information.
