company and since 2000 net revenues have doubled and the market cap has quadrupled. Today it

is the global No 1 or No 2 in the majority of its fast-growing categories, driven by an exceptional

rate of innovation – near 40% of revenue comes from innovations launched in the prior 3 years.

It has a strong portfolio led by 17 global power brands which are: Finish, Lysol, Dettol, Vanish,

Woolite, Calgon, Airwick, Harpic, Bang, Mortein, Veet, Nurofen, Clearasil, Strepsils Gaviscon,

Rakesh Kapoor

Rakesh Kapoor joined the Board as director and CEO on 1 September 2011 from his previous

role as EVP, Global Category Development. He has been a member of the Executive Committee

since 2006. Rakesh has a 25 year career with the Group. His roles have included Regional Sales

Manager and Marketing Manager Personal Care, both for Northern India, General Manager for

Southern India and Regional Marketing Director for South Asia. Rakesh moved to the UK

headquarters in 1997 as Global Marketing Director. He was appointed SVP, Global Category

Officer Home Care following the 1999 merger of Reckitt & Colman and Benckiser. Between

2001 and 2006 Rakesh was SVP, Regional Director Northern Europe & European Heath Care.

Rakesh has a Masters in Business Management (MBA) from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India and a

BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani,

India.

Adrian Bellamy

Adrian Bellamy has served as a Non-Executive Chairman of RB since May 2003, having served

four years as a Non-Executive Director. Mr Bellamy was born in England, educated in Southern

Rhodesia and graduated from University of South Africa with B.Com and MBA degrees.

Following an early career in finance, Mr Bellamy moved into retail in the late 1960s. After seven

years as Chief Executive Officer of a public company, he emigrated to the USA to become

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of a private retailer. In 1995, he retired from executive

management. Mr. Bellamy was formerly a director of Gucci Group NV and The Robert Mondavi

Corporation and was the Chairman of the Body Shop International plc until March 2008. He is

currently director of The Gap Intl and Williams-Sonoma.

Richard Cousins

Richard Cousins was appointed to the Board of Reckitt Benckiser as a Non-Executive Director

and member of the Remuneration Committee on 1 October 2009. He has been Group Chief

Executive of Compass Group PLC, the world’s largest catering company, since 2006. Previously

Richard was Chief Executive Officer of BPB plc, having held a number of positionswith that

company since joining in 1990, and is a former Non-Executive Director of P&O and HBOS. His

earlier career was with CadburySchweppes plc and BTR plc.

Mr Cousins graduated from Sheffield University with a BSc (Hons) inMathematics in 1980 Healso holds an MA in Operational Research fromLancaster University and diplomas in Marketing

and Accounting and Finance.




Liz Doherty

Joined Reckitt Benckiser in January 2011 and was apointed to the Board as Chief Financial

Officer on 8 February 2011. She was CFO at Brambles Limited for two years. Prior to Brambles,

Liz spent seven years at Tesco plc where she was the number two in the finance function and

Group International Finance Director. She joined Tesco from Unilever PLC, where she had a 22-

year career. Liz served as a Non-Executive Director of SAB Miller plc from 2006 until stepping

down from this role ahead of joining the company.

Peter Harf

Peter Harf was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Reckitt Benckiser in December

1999. He served as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee until June 2004. He is Chairman

of Coty Inc., a worldwide fragrance and cosmetics company with sales of US$3.3billion in fiscal

2007. In addition he is Chairman of InBev, the world’s largest brewing company and was, until

May 2007, a director of the Brunswick Corporation. He is Chief Executive officer of Joh A.

Benckiser SE, a privately-held financial holding company. Dr Harf received his MBA degree in

1974 from the Harvard Business School. He holds both a diploma and a Doctorate in economics

from the University of Cologne.


Ken Hydon

Ken Hydon was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Reckitt Benckiser and member of the

Audit Committee in December 2003. He was appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee in

November 2006. He was the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director from February 2005 to

November 2006. Mr Hydon joined Vodafone as Financial Director in 1985 and played a

significant role in its rapid growth with operations in 26 countries worldwide. He retired from

Vodafone in July 2005. While at Vodafone he was a member of the Supervisory Board of

Mannersmann AG and a director of Verizon Wireless in the USA. Kenneth Hydon is a Fellow of

the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Chartered Association of Certified

Accountants and the Association of Corporate Treasurers. He is a Non-Executive Director of



Tesco plc, Pearson plc and the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.

André Lacroix

André Lacroix was appointed to the Board of Reckitt Benckiser as a Non-Executive Director on

1 October 2008. He is Group Chief Executive of Inchcape plc and Chairman of Good

Restaurants AG. He was previously Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Euro Disney

between July 2003 and May 2005. Prior to joining Euro Disney, Mr Lacroix worked for Burger

King for seven years and was appointed President of Burger King International in 2001. From

1988 to 1996 he held a series of senior marketing, sales and general management roles at Pepsi

Cola, serving in a number of their European and international markets. Previously he has also

held positions at Colgate Palmolive and Ernst & Young. In 1983, he graduated from ESCP

(Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris) with a major in consumer marketing.

Graham Mackay

Graham Mackay was appointed to the Board of Reckitt Benckiser as a Non-Executive Director

and member of the Remuneration Committee in February 2005. In November 2006, he was

appointed as the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director. He joined South African

Breweries (SAB) in 1978 as Systems Manager. Following a number of senior positions, he was

appointed Managing Director in 1997, then Chief Executive on the company’s relisting on the

London Stock Exchange in 1999. SABMiller plc is one of the world’s largest brew ers operating

in over 40 countries across four continents. He joined the board of Philip Morris International

Inc. in October 2008. Brought up in Swaziland, South Africa and Zimbabwe, Mr Mackay

graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BSc (Eng) in 1972 and from the

University of South Africa (UNISA) with a BCom in 1977.





Judith Sprieser

Judith Sprieser was appointed to the Board of Reckitt Benckiser in August 2003 and Chair of the

Remuneration Committee in 2004. From September 2000 to February 2004, she was Chief

Executive Officer of Transora, a technology software and services company. Ms Sprieser also

served as Executive Vice President of Sara Lee Corporation from 1998 to 2000 and Chief

Financial Officer from 1994 to 1998. She has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from

Northwestern University. She is currently a director of Allstate Insurance Company,

InterContinental Exchange Inc., Royal Ahold N.V. and Experian plc.

Warren Tucker

Warren Tucker was appointed to the Board of Reckitt Benckiser as a Non-Executive Director

and member of the Audit Committee on 24 February 2010. He has been Chief Financial Officer

of Cobham plc, a FTSE100 international company engaged in the development, delivery and

support of advanced aerospace and defence systems for land, sea and air since 2003. Previously

Warren was Deputy Finance Director at Cable & Wireless. After qualifying as a Chartered

Accountant with Arthur Andersen, his earlier career was with Lazard Brothers, Euro Disney and

British Airways. Warren graduated from Bristol University with a BSc (Hons) in Economics and

Accounting in 1984 and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Heather Allen

Executive Vice President, Category DevelopmentNationality: Canadian

Heather Allen (Canadian) joined RB as Marketing Director Poland in February 1996. She thenmoved to Hungary as Marketing Director and subsequently was appointed Marketing DirectorUSA in April 1999. In 2003, Heather was promoted to General Manager of Canada. She wasappointed to the position of Global Category Officer in January 2006, before becoming EVP,Category Development in 2011. Prior to joining Benckiser, Heather worked for Procter &



Gamble in Canada where she held a number of marketing roles within Beauty Care categories.

Liz Doherty

Liz joined RB in January 2011. Before this, she was chief financial officer at BramblesIndustries PLC for 2 years. With a market cap of Aus$9.7bn, the supply chain company operatesacross 45 countries and is a top 25 Australian stock exchange quoted company. Prior toBrambles, Liz spent 7 years at Tesco PLC, initially as international finance director and later asgroup international finance director when her role was expanded to include corporate accounts,group tax and treasury. She joined Tesco after a 22 year career with Unilever PLC where she had



various country, regional and corporate roles mainly in finance but also in the supply chainfunction. Liz has worked in Australia, Spain, the Netherlands and Thailand, as well as the UK.Liz was a non-executive director at SABMiller PLC from 2006-2010.Back to top

Amedeo Fasano

Amedeo Fasano joined the company in 1997 as Supply Director Italy. After the merger withReckitt & Colman he was appointed Manufacturing Director for Central, South Western andSouthern Europe Regions. In 2002 he became Regional Supply Director North America and in2003 SVP Supply NA and ANZ. In 2007 Amedeo took over the role as SVP Supply, DevelopingMarkets. In March 2009 Amedeo was appointed as EVP Supply. Amedeo has responsibility of the global supply chain including procurement, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics. Alsoresponsible for management of Squeeze and X-trim gross margin enhancement programs.Amedeo previously worked for Pirelli Tyres in multiple supply assignments in Italy, Argentinaand the UK.

Simon Nash joined RB in July 2009 from Novartis Consumer Health, where he was Global Headof Human Resources, based in Switzerland. He was with Novartis for nearly 10 years andinitially led organisation and leadership development for the group before taking on the HR

leadership role for the consumer health division. Simon started his international career with P&Gin Detergent Manufacturing, before moving into HR with Mars Confectionery in Slough. Hemoved to New York in 1993 with Kraft Foods International and then onto Chicago as HR Headof the office products subsidiary of Fortune Brands Inc.

1988

Benckiser purchases Mira Lanza Spa and Panigal Spa, Italy.

Benckiser acquires S.A. Camp Group, Spain.



1990

Reckitt & Colman acquire Boyle-Midway, the American household products group with brandsWoolite, Easy-Off, Sani-Flush, Wizard and Old English.

Benckiser acquires worldwide branded business of Beecham Household Products in US andCanada.

Benckiser begins expansion into Eastern Europe.

1994

Reckitt & Colman acquires Lehn & Fink Products, including Lysol, the famous householddisinfectant brand in the USA.

Benckiser continues its expansion into the Baltic countries, Belorussia, China and Israel.

In November, Reckitt Benckiser acquires Tiga Roda - an Indonesian pest control business.

In March, Reckitt Benckiser acquires Oxy, a leading household business in Korea.

In April, Reckitt Benckiser disposes of the (non-core) firelighter business.

In August, Reckitt Benckiser disposes of Dr. Becher, a non-core business.

Reckitt Benckiser acquires outstanding minority interest in India and Sri Lanka.

2005

Cillit Bang launches in 68 countries in just one year.

2006

Reckitt Benckiser completes acquisition of Boots Healthcare International for £1,926 million,gaining a new platform for growth in the attractive OTC (over the counter) healthcare market.

2007

Air Wick Freshmatic launches, creating an entirely new Aircare segment.

2007

Vanish hits the world No.1 spot! From it's UK launch in 1999, Vanish becomes market leader in75% of the 57 countries it now sells in.

2008

Reckitt Benckiser completes acquisition of Adams Respiratory Therapeutics, Inc., allowing it toenter the USA's over-the-counter market with Mucinex – the clear No.1 cough remedy in the US.

2009

Reckitt Benckiser launches its new corporate brand identity. Contemporary and bold, it reflectsRB's spirit and what RB is all about as a business: 'The Power behind the Powerbrands'

2010

Reckitt Benckiser completes acquisition of SSL International and adds Durex and Scholl to their

list of Powerbrands.
