October is Pastor Appreciation Month! There is a table set up in the lobby
along the wall with jars you may use to place gift cards, notes of
encouragement or other gifts. Of course you may contact them individually
if you would like to invite them to dinner or lunch or something else to
show your appreciation for all they do for our congregation. May God bless
our pastors for serving in a humble and powerful way.
We have come in under budget on Phase 1 by $12,000. Glory to God!
To date we have received $70,000 for the “Pre-Phase 1” and $308,937 towards
Phase 1. We are more than half way to funding our phase 1 goal!
We are just starting year 2 of a 3-year capital campaign to raise $750,000 to pay
for ground preparation (phase 1) for our future community worship center we
plan to build on 74 acres about a mile from our current location.
If you are new to TVCOG or have not yet made a pledge but would like to,
simply complete a pledge card and either place it in the offering plate or send it
to the church office at PO Box 270, Scott Depot, WV 25560. If you need a
pledge card, you may see an usher, visit our guest services desk or call the
church office at 304-757-9222. With God ALL things are possible!
$2,901 was received this week for a new total of $378,937 that has now been given toward our MISSION POSSIBLE campaign!
