RECALL – ANNUAL ALUMNI MEET – 2020

Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Institutions’ RECALL–Annual Alumni Meet – 2020 was organized on 04th January 2020 in Dasari Auditorium, at Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College Campus, Tirupati.

Mr. PavithranVuppalapati, Senior IT Project Manager, Australian Federal Government

and an alumnus of 1998-2002, IT branch was the Chief Guest.Dr. L. Venugopal Reddy, Advisor

cum Director, and all the Heads of the institutions graced the occasion RECALL- Annual Alumni

Meet – 2020.





Mr. PavithranVuppalapati, the

chief guest, in his thought provoking

address expressed his happiness to

participate in the meet, as got an

opportunity to meet his teachers,

classmates & batchmates. He explained

the importance of Planning and

Communication in day-to-day life as well

as in career. Also, he stressed,

“Continuous Learning is the pillar of Planning and Communication.” He cited that his

continuous learning from experiences helped him to plan job meticulously. He said that his

support and assistance in all aspects would always be available to any interested alumni or

students.

Dr. L. Venugopal Reddy, Advisor cum

Director addressed that there should be strong

bonding between the alumni and educational

institutions. Alumni can be a part of

institutional development by offering Guest

lectures, sharing Domain knowledge &

Technological enhancements, etc. He said,

“Alumni are the prominent source to provide

career guidance and showcase the opportunities to their juniors.” Directors and Deans of SVEI

conveyed their best wishes to all the Alma Matter and emphasized the importance of having

strong bonding between Alumni and Educational Institutions.

Dr. M. Mohan Babu, Chairman, SVET conveyed, “Alumni are the backbone to any

educational institutions.” He inspired the Alumni to aim for the societal development. Revered

CEO, SVET and Proud Alumnus of SVEC, Mr. Vishnu Manchu in his message conveyed that

these sorts of inspirational Alumni Meets should be organized regularly in all the Alumni

Chapters to motivate the Alumni to serve the Institution and the Nation.





A few alumni shared their nostalgic moments about their life in Sree Vidyanikethan. They also

shared their incidents on how the brand name “Sree Vidyanikethan” and “Dr. M. Mohan Babu”

uplifted their careers and expressed their gratitude towards Sree Vidyanikethan, where they

learnt how to face the competitive world. Mr. Sravan, of 1997-2001, EEE Alumni and Mr.

Bharath, of 2013-2017, ECE Alumni extended special gratitude to Dr. M. Mohan Babu,

Chairman, and SVET for sponsoring Engineering Education.

Directors & Principals; Deans; Heads of Departments; Mr. S. Sreenivasa Chakravarthi, Alumni

Relations Officer, SVET; Members of Faculty; Staff and Students enriched the proceedings with

their active participation.





More than 350 Alumni participated joyfully in the celebrations and interacted with the

Students, the members of faculty and the Institutional heads. They recalled their fulfilled

student days in the Sree Vidyanikethan Campus and reloaded their nostalgic moments.
