Terrorism – the cure By Leonard Orr This article was written by Leonard shortly after twin towers… The ultimate cure for terrorism may not be to kill the terrorists, but to heal the root causes of it and to work consciously to prevent terrorism. The cure is both an inside and an outside job. The cure begins with healing our own personal death urge, by healing the root causes of rage and anger within ourselves, by intelligently building and strengthening the Life energy in our body and mind, and by learning to express our feelings and share our enlightenment with our friends and neighbors. The most effective outside cure is neighborhood representation and the resurrection of the basic ideals and structures of democracy like the town meeting. On the other hand, to kill all the terrorists with military action could produce cycles of military violence that could produce nuclear war that would immerse the entire world in the worst terror of the Armageddon prophecies of World War III. The outside job does not ignore the value of the military approach. But the total destruction of the New York City World Trade Center building illustrates the impotence of the military approach. The greatest military power in the world is impotent against a few creative individuals. The destruction of the Pentagon building symbolized this. New York City is not only a financial center, a center of materialism, but it is perhaps the death urge capital of the United States. The unconscious death urge idea was perhaps most clearly presented by Sigmund Freud. Then it submerged back into unconsciousness until my own writings and books. I wrote the only book in the world specifically on healing the death urge. I also have written many correlative books (-see list at end). Every country in the world has an abundant supply of totally vulnerable targets for terrorists. What I am suggesting here is that we not react with blind rage and endanger the whole world with revenge cycles until we create nuclear war and devastation. What I suggest is that we open our eyes and minds to a more expanded, enlightened view. Let’s try to see the Trade towers event from God’s perspective. For example, think about this: Ordinary death urge kills over 99.9% of the world’s population every 50 years. This is 2% of the Earth’s people every year that are killed by ordinary deathist mentality. Did you know that when the first man walked on the Moon, crime nearly stopped completely for 24 hours? Evidently, all of the criminals were watching television. Suppose that the destruction of the NY World Trade Center towers released and healed so much death urge around the world that ten times as many people were saved from ordinary deaths than the number of people who died in the plane and buildings’ explosions. Maybe the NYC towers’ destruction drama on television processed so much death urge on the planet that ordinary death took a vacation for the rest of the week. • The people who died might have been a temporary sacrifice for the people that were so interested in TV that they forgot to die when they were schedule. If the terrorist acts of September 11th got your attention and started you thinking, keep thinking until you become enlightened about Life and death – about your responsibility to your community and world politics. Is it your apathy and lack of conscious citizenship that breeds terrorists? Spiritual purification practices are the inside job that can save us from terrorists and prevent terrorism, but there is an outside job that is just as simple. Republican democracy is dependent upon the ratio of representation. We must have an elected neighborhood representative for at least every 1000 people. Until we have elected neighborhood representatives, we have no way of protecting ourselves from the injustices, terrorism and abuse exercised upon us daily from our own government. We are so addicted to being abused by our tax system – being slaves in our money system and the numberless ways our bureaucracies are stealing our freedoms- that we have forgotten what happiness and freedom really are! Intelligent citizenship is a lost and forgotten art! Voting has become such a meaningless act in the United States that most people have such deep feelings of hopelessness and apathy and have given up and resigned from citizenship responsibility. Democracy without the People is not democracy! A permanent year-round structure of grass roots elected representatives is the only answer. And it is very inexpensive and realistic. If we elect a leader for every 1000 citizens it only costs $10 per month from each of us to create a $10,000 budget to support our elected leader to be our full-time professional political representative. This person can function as a friend, a well-trained counselor – trained by us, a lobbyist for us – the voters, a spiritual leader and role model, a social-worker, an employment-counselor, a trainer in entrepreneurism, an educator, etc. Adult education may be the biggest need of this century. This elected leader can be a judge and protector as is described in Exodus 18 in the Bible. Through this elected representative, we can support the best ideas in the world and implement them. When this idea becomes universal, terrorism will naturally disappear. Peace and worldwide enlightenment will reign. Whenever this kind of elected neighborhood representation gets implemented, violence and crime disappears from the community. Understanding, cooperation and communication replace crime and violence. Neighborhood organizations enable us to support and educate the poor, the sick, the weak and the ignorant. They enable us to tap the power of the strong, intelligent, rich and successful people in our neighborhood for the good of all. Elected neighborhood representatives can meet monthly in a council for all the grass roots leaders for each congressional district. These representatives enlighten each congressperson or national elected leader. The National Congress of elected national representatives becomes governed by the best ideas of the people. Government then, at all levels, becomes the servant of the people as was envisioned by our Founding Fathers. Apathy gives way to participatory democracy. Humanity becomes governed by enlightened knowledge instead of ignorance, apathy, hate and violence. The cure for terrorism is both an inside and an outside job. We have to liberate ourselves from the terror in our own mind – from our negative thoughts and feelings about our own Life. And we have to implement this idea of electing a grass roots representative in our own neighborhood that is organically connected to the elected neighborhood representatives in every local community in the world through a system of district councils of elected neighborhood representatives. Until the United Nations has a House of Representatives consisting of an elected representative for every one million people on the planet, we will not have worldwide democracy or a very realistic prospect of world peace. A world without fear, without terrorism, even without poverty nor unconscious death is within our reach. We must think globally and act locally!

  • The Death Urge…

Another big part of the inside job to end terrorism is to improve the quality of our beliefs about death. Which do you choose to believe now? Death is inevitable and beyond my control or Death is optional and self-created. Is our personal death urge conscious or unconscious? As long as we have a death urge, our own mind is the most dangerous thing on Earth. Our own belief in death is the basic source of terror. But our minds can also liberate us and create Heaven on Earth if we choose! If we are we are killed by our own minds, then we carry terrorism around within us all the time. We have the terrorism bombs inside of us. We are all terrorizing each other and ourselves every day. We are all terrorists waiting to kill ourselves. Ordinary daily death is suicide. And homicide is the other side of the same coin. Death and disease are popular. Our own beliefs and ignorance of our natural Divine potential cause them. If we are Children of God and God is eternal, why do we have to die? Why do the Bible and all Scriptures hold out victory over death as the goal of salvation, of Heaven on Earth, of enlightened human existence? To prevent terrorism in the world, we have to overhaul and repair our basic belief system. Terrorists are small-thinking people who feel unloved and powerless, hoping to accomplish something through their death what they couldn’t accomplish in Life. All acts of violence accomplish nothing that creative and intelligent communication couldn’t accomplish in a much healthier way. Communication may be slower, but much more efficient. Violence destroys, and, unless it motivates a more beautiful reconstruction, it accomplishes nothing. On the other hand, communication that changes understanding and changes reality with the full knowledge and the full consent of the participants accomplishes things that have more endurance – that are long lasting. If the recent destruction and loss of Life caused by the terrorist acts in New York and Washington don’t motivate us to:

Establish practical representative democracy in our neighborhood Heal our own death urge Build spiritual community Build local community money systems Take our spiritual and citizenship responsibilities more consciously

then all those who died on September 11th, and those who will continue to die in future acts of terrorism, whether they are done by religious fanatics or military professionals, will just be another empty sacrifice for our ignorance and apathy.

The cure for terrorism is in front of our face! We only have to “repent” – to change our habits and Lifestyle in ways that support the personal aliveness and enlightenment of ourselves and our neighbors and our local community.

Remember this most powerful thought: “I am alive now, therefore my Life urges are stronger than my death urges. As long as I strengthen my

Life urges and weaken my death urges, I will go on living in greater health and youthfulness.” Spiritual growth, spiritual community and communication constantly enrich the joy of Life in each one

of us and in our environment. This is the source of real safety and security!

  • Dominique Verga What follows is an excerpt from a translated talk Dominique gave to the 2018 Pranic World festival. …I came out of this danger zone, this non-life zone. And now from my point of view, I can say that I went from this state of survival in which I was until I became ‘pranic’. I went from survival to life. Seen since the ‘pranic’ state which is mine now, I can say that I was not alive that it is only now that I have full awareness that life animates me and that I am a manifestation of life. For me to be ‘pranic’ it is not to eat or not to eat. For me it’s a state of consciousness. This is obviously manifested by the fact that the body can stop putting food in the mouth. It’s just the manifestation of this state of love that settled in me. But as I always say, for me there is really something important to understand in the approach to ‘prana’. I always show these two curves when I lecture: there is the fact of stopping to eat, it is a thing and stopping eating does not lead to being ‘pranic’. It’s not sufficient. It’s called fasting and there is this other curve, this other axis which is: to learn to feed on love, to open oneself to love. This is the process of becoming ‘pranic’. And so both together make that, if we stop eating while at the same time we learn to open our consciousness, to open to love, the two together make us move from a life where we ate to a life where we do not eat anymore and we have this energy. And so in fact everything the essence of the process is not a food approach, it is a detail, it does not matter. It’s just a manifestation of this state that has settled, and when one is ‘pranic’ installed, to eat or not to eat, you do not think about it anymore, it’s no longer part of your life. It is this evolution of the state of being which starts from non-contact with love and is moving towards this love little by little and remove impediments, anything that prevents us to welcome and say yes to love, to let love take the reins. This love food is so powerful that all the rest disappears, no longer exists, that other needs are no longer present. So it’s absolutely not a fight against food, nor the will to avoid food. On the contrary, it is this welcome with love, enthusiasm and enthusiasm from this other side of life, that is, to welcome life and love in itself. As long as there is no reconnection to our deep and essential nature it is impossible for the body to go to the other side and to dispense with food. Knowing who you are and where you come from, is essential to find this path. Reconnect. We reconnect to love. And in fact it’s very simple: we are all love, by nature, at the beginning. We are here to dive into a bath of love. We are by nature, by essence the energy of love that is manifested by a physical body. And the purpose of our coming to earth, our incarnation, it is to manifest this free choice by our free will. In any situation say yes to love. What we live in our early years, at the beginning of our lives, already in the belly of our mother, or in our early years, we are generally moving away from this love because the world is so made that today it is not love that is most important. The place where we are born, the people, the mother’s womb, this family, extended family, society, the world, it is not love that permeates them above all else. And so the difficulties we live in those early years tend to hurt us to move away from love to make us close the doors of love. Yet when we are born, we are just that: a ball of love. We are an infinite potential for love and we are only that: love only. And the goal of our life, is to become aware that I am love and that the world around me is the manifestation of love. To overcome, to ignore, to live in the present moment this awareness that I am love in a world of love and have love as a single look behind all my intentions, all my words, all my actions. And so be able to evolve from the injured little child – because all of us have been hurt more or less deeply.

  • All these doors of love, all these reflexes to cut us off from love, we have all experienced them at a more or less intense level because if we had not lived these “no” these refusals of love, well, we would not be here saying it’s possible to find it, we would already be totally immersed, nourished and blessed by this presence of love. Learning to feed on love is just putting the light on everything that prevents us from being and with love become like a big pitcher that will fill a bottomless pit. And realize that we have this power and this freedom. To say yes to love at every moment and the past whatever it was, it no longer exists. Here and now, if I decide in conscience that love is my food, it’s a question of choice. A question of commitment moment after moment. Knowing that we are love immersed in a bath of love allows us to realize that all the behaviours we can have and that others may have who are not loving are only the absence of love and this is what generates suffering. But in itself, evey being in the depths of his heart longs for that because he knew it. He knew it the moment he was born, the moment he came to earth. He was love immersed in this bath. And its this reconnection to who we are this love connection that allows us to re-vibrate to this state ’vibratory’ very high to this state of consciousness that reunites us in everything, in the universe, to the source, to god, to love and no matter what cap each one goes to give to his principles. I call it love, the principle of love…

  • Yagna, the fire ceremony From Encounters with Babaji, Master of the Himalayas by Renata Caddy

    Pg 147

It was also Babaji’s wish to re-establish the awareness of the original meaning of the Yagna, the fire ceremony,

which, according to the Vedas, is the most powerful means for the harmonizing of cosmic energy in order to

    balance all levels of life.

The Yagna is of great importance. Babaji has brought it back into life again.

Babaji h imself performed a Havan (Yagna) , a short fire ceremony, every day before dawn, and on many

special occasions, like Christmas, Navaratri, etc. he celebrated big Yagnas together with many people.

About the Vedic Fire Ceremony pg 216

The father of fire is light- the mother of fire is love.

Fire is the medium of transformation

The Rishis, the saints and the seers knew that it would bring about great blessings if something from the

abundance of creation was offered back to the creator. This gave rise to the Vedic fire ceremony.

How it is performed, the accompanying mantras and the offerings are precisely described in the Vedas, based on

    what the Rishis saw.

During the recitation of the mantras with the names of the divine beings, offerings and made to the fire of Rice

(a mixture of rice, sesame, barley and sugar), ghee (melted clarified butter), flowers, fruits, incense and

    coconuts.

In order to carry out a Vedic fire ceremony it is necessary to get the permission and the blessing of a master.

Shastriji once said, “The fire is like the mail, It brings that which you send to the desired address immediately.”

What we offer is received by the divine beings upon whom we have called in that moment. – This is a

particularly beautiful way to make contact with them.

There are two kinds of sacrifice in the created world:

The horizontal – one give to another who has less.

The vertical – we give something form the fullness of the creation back to the Divine. Thus the circle of giving is

brought into action: A little rice is sacrifice, an abundance of rice will flow back down.

The great masters perform fire ceremonies in many locations to relieve famine, among other purposes.

Babaji emphasized the great importance of the Havan, a fire ritual: “The creation originated from it”

There are many reasons for carrying out a fire ceremony: in order to invoke rain and fruitfulness: for protection

against diseases or in order that wishes may be fulfilled. Not just for the cleansing of the atmosphere, but also of

    feelings and thoughts; and for the healing of the elements within us and in nature. The harmful is transformed;

the good flourishes. Likewise, fire ceremonies are also performed for wealth and abundance, and for peace, love

    and happiness.

  • The marriage of life and death is physical immortality. Immortals are dying all the time, and are being born in innocence all the time. Immortality is a steady state of these two forces. What dies is anything that is no longer needed, any illusions, any judgements or limitations. What is being renewed is the will for, and the joy of, greater life. It is difficult to ask an immortal how old they are, if they are leaping out of a womb of fire as you speak Robert Coon, The Rainbow Serpent and the Holy Grail

From Redlyn I met Pauline Win around 10 years ago at a Breathwork training I did with Leonard Orr at Mt Tambourine QLD. I thought the concepts she was teaching were far fetched and ungrounded at first until I began to practice what she taught us and these miraculous ideas started to penetrate my sleepy consciousness. I never dreamed I would become awakened and passionate enough to be now teaching and keeping the flame alight for these ancient rejuvenation practices of earth, air, water and fire. It was an absolute honour to have Pauline come and share her wisdom and passion with us during our 10 day retreat. 10 days in a retreat is a powerful container for transformation... Here is some words from one of our participants: ‘My experience of this retreat has been incredibly profound, I have done great healing and opening of myself. I feel more connected to my body, more self aware of my mental patterns and how I can assist myself in shifting them. I am clearer in my visioning and what it is I need to do in the world.’

    ‘Unless we are

    opening as love we

    are all just animating

    mistrust of love’

  • Breathwork with Cacey Over five consecutive weekends, beginning 8/2/2019 we will go deeply into your personal process through Breathwork. Utilising the natural elements of earth, air, water and fire to transmute energy and regenerate the body to receive more health, wellbeing, life force and personal direction. It’s all an inside job and I won’t lie, it’ll be demanding and confronting. As a Qualified Counsellor with 17 years experience in Breathwork therapy and various other modalities I will support you to enter into and through this process with as much grace, strength, and gentleness as possible. The purpose of this training is to deepen your relationship with yourself by learning new tools for self enquiry, stress management and burn out, and transmuting that which does not serve your self regeneration and self care practises. Topics covered will include your birth patterns, working with earth, air, water and fire for self care and regeneration, learning to receive in profoundly deeper ways, unlocking your Breath mechanism, unconscious mind sabotage patterns and psychological clearing techniques that work. Inner child work will play a part too but it is more geared towards pre conception, in the womb and directly during your birth. You will get back what you put in with these practices and self responsibility and empowerment is a large part of reclaiming your natural breathing ability, which has been stifled since birth. Our current birthing practices are not ideal and significant damage is done on all levels which has been scientifically proven. Dates : 8/2/2019 – evening meet and greet. Course begins 1

Your trainer Hello, I’m Cacey Blackburn Dip. Couns. (Spiritual and Relationship Counselling). I have attended several live in and long term trainings with the original founders of Breathwork, Sondra Ray and Leonard Orr and continued my training throughout, most recently attending a 9 day training with Sondra Ray in 2017. I have worked as an assistant for both these founders on several occasions. I have completed hundreds of hours of training and hundreds of personal Breathwork sessions, both normal and in the water. Early on in my Breathwork career I journeyed to India twice to complete 2 Navarartri pilgrimages in the Himalayas, experiencing the undiluted core teachings, and practices of the original masters in this field. I have also studied extensively under Australian Breathwork Pioneer Pauline Win. It is from these 17 years of my own personal hard work and dedication that I have collated the pearls from these experiences to offer to you in my upcoming Breathwork Training. I believe in a non invasive, calm environment with no group breathing circles, only one on one, high quality, supervised sessions which is what I will be facilitating with my assistants. Numbers will be limited to ensure each person receives time and attention in alignment with my standards of care. Looking very forward to meeting you all for an amazingly powerful journey into ourselves. Blessings, Cacey Contact : [email protected] phone : 0431 598989

  • ANGRY PEOPLE MIGHT NOT BE AS SMART AS THEY

    THINK THEY ARE

People who are quick to lose their temper are more likely to overestimate

their own intelligence, a new study from The University of Western Australia

and the University of Warsaw in Poland has found.

The investigation examined the role of trait-anger (people that get angry as a

disposition) in the overestimation of cognitive ability in undergraduates from

    Warsaw, Poland.

The participants were asked to answer questions assessing their trait-anger,

stability, narcissism, and how they would rate their intelligence on a 25-point

scale, before taking an objective intelligence test.

UWA Senior Lecturer Gilles Gignac, co-author of the paper with Professor

Marcin Zajenkowski from the University of Warsaw, said the study found an

interesting relationship between those with a clear tendency to become

annoyed at things, big and small, and their perception of their own

    intelligence.

“Trait anger, in some cases, may be a consequence of less emotional stability,

such as anxiety,” Professor Gignac said.

“However, for others, there is no anxiety fuelling the frustration, nastiness,

and angry outbursts. Instead, for them, it looks like it may be narcissism.

Consequently, when you ask this type of trait-angry person to rate their own

intelligence, they tend to overestimate it.”

The results of the newly published study answer important questions about

the dynamics between trait-anger, emotional stability, and narcissism. By

understanding more about how trait-anger functions, it will allow clinicians

and members of the general public to deal with it better.

The study also leads into some important speculations that could be examined

    in future research.

“A narcissist, especially what we call the grandiose narcissist, has, as a

defining characteristic, an inflated positive self-image,” Professor Gignac

    said.

“So, it’s not surprising to see a link between narcissism and the

    overestimation of one’s intelligence.

“The interesting element is that trait-anger appears to be involved in this

process. It may be speculated that, for many grandiose narcissists, trait-anger

develops over time, as they begin to gain some awareness of the difference

between how important and good they think they are versus the reality of

what they can do and what they have accomplished.”

The research paper has been published in Intelligence (Elsevier).

  • “Today the world is playing with fire. We have to be ready to face fire, water

and great storms and not be shaken. We have to go beyond the hope of life

and the fear of death. Whatever happens we must go ahead. Then only can

we benefit the world. We have to bring the path of karma into the light.

Now the world is in deep darkness. The Revolution spreading in this world

can be controlled by karma alone.” ~ Haidakhan Babaji (The Teachings of

  • Shaman & Fire There are two kinds of people in this world there are those who are dreamers and those who are being dreamed. There comes a time in every man’s life when he must encounter his past. For those who are dreamed who have no more than a passing acquaintance with power this moment is usually played out from their death beds as they try to bargain with fate for a few more moments of lifetime but for the dreamer the person of power this moment takes place alone before fire when he calls upon the spectres of his personal past to stand before him like witnesses before the court. This is the work of the south where the medicine wheel begins I am not speaking of remembering the past, anyone can remember the past and remembering we reframe it to serve and justify our present. Remembering is a conscious act and therefore subject to embellishment. Remebering is easy. The person of power sits alone before the fire, he confronts his past he hears the testimony of these spectres and he dismisses them one by one, he acquits himself of his past. Do you comprehend this? Man of power has no past no history that can claim him he has cast aside his shadow and learned to walk in the snow without leaving tracks

Stress is a drain on the brain

STRESS in middle age can shrink your brain and make your memory worse. Scientists have found the brain-reducing effects of stress were associated with high levels of the hormone cortisol. Stress also made people’s thinking skills worse. Harvard Medical School researchers studied 2231 people – giving them a memory test at an average age of 49 and again eight years later. Levels of cortisol, which helps the body respond to stress were tested. Most also had an MRI scan to measure brain volume. Researchers found lower scores for memory and thinking tests and smaller brain volume in people with higher levels of cortisol. From the Daily Telegraph Oct 18
