Don- na and I are going back to Kansas for Christmas to spend time with our family. This is also the time for many of us to make a To Do List for what we want to accom- plish next year. I know my Old Laguna has a long list of parts she needs. But also, I'm looking forward to the up- coming year for the Rebel's Auto Club, I think we'll have an incredible year, and be able to do even more for our community. The Rebel's Car Show this year, I think will be even better than before. I always enjoy our show be- cause it's our way to showcase all the wonderful mem- bers that make the Rebel's Auto Club, one of the Best and most Respected Car Clubs around. With that thought in mind, it's something that needs the inspiration, dedication, ideas, and the work of everyone. I want eve- ryone to know that if you have anything that comes to mind, I'm a email, phone call, or text away. Feel free to reach out to me about anything, and I want everyone to know that my door is always open. We are one incredible group of people that do amazing things for the good of our community, and I couldn't be more proud of each and everyone and the entire Rebel's Auto Club. I look forward to seeing you all at the next meeting, and from Donna, the First Lady and I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Very Happy, Safe, and Prosperous New Year!!! THE PRESIDENT’S GARAGE

Hello Everyone, Welcome to the President's Garage, Well the Christmas Season is upon us, and I hope everyone has some won-derful plans in store for Christmas and New Years. Don-na and I are going back to Kansas for Christmas to spend time with our family. This is also the time for many of us to make a To Do List for what we want to accom-plish next year. I know my Old Laguna has a long list of parts she needs. But also, I'm looking forward to the up-coming year for the Rebel's Auto Club, I think we'll have an incredible year, and be able to do even more for our community. The Rebel's Car Show this year, I think will be even better than before. I always enjoy our show be-cause it's our way to showcase all the wonderful mem-bers that make the Rebel's Auto Club, one of the Best and most Respected Car Clubs around. With that thought in mind, it's something that needs the inspiration, dedication, ideas, and the work of everyone. I want eve-ryone to know that if you have anything that comes to mind, I'm a email, phone call, or text away. November 2017 Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm by President

Steve Lewis. He welcomed everyone to the meeting and

asked if there were any guests or new members. Mark

Walker from SCCA is a new member.

Vice President Bob Moberly gave his report. Bob said

the next board meeting will be December 12th at Panera

on North 66th. All members are welcome to attend. The

December general meeting will be December 27th at

HyVee on North 84th. Dinner at 6, meeting starting at

7:30pm. Bob reminded members that the holiday party

will be at Misty’s in Havelock on January 20th More in-

formation to come on the party. A motion was made, se-

conded and approved to accept the vice president’s re-

port.

Secretary Margaret Otley gave her report. She asked if

everyone had received their newsletter and if there were

any additions or corrections to the minutes. There were

none. The newsletter deadline is December 4th, please

get any articles, photos etc to Tracee by that date. La-

dies night will be December 20th . The ladies are meeting

at Red Lobster at 6pm. Margaret reminded everyone

that it is time to renew your membership. Please see her

for a membership form. A motion was made to accept

the minutes from the previous meeting and the secretar-

y’s report.

Treasurer Jana Wood gave her report. She reported that

income for the month was from a donation from Kriha.

Expenses for the month included a donation to Heroes

Into Homes, office supplies, PO Box rental, newsletter

expenses, ENWIC membership dues and VA kid activity

bags. Jana said troop packages are in the planning for

January or February and more donations after the first

of the year. Rebel’s will be having income from member-

ship renewal and expenses for the holiday party. A mo-

tion was made, seconded and approved to accept the

treasurer’s report.

Coordinator Gary Weyers said he had nothing to report.

A motion was made seconded and approved to accept the

coordinator’s report.

Sheryl Wright talked about the upcoming move for

homeless veterans to the Victory Park apartments. This

weekend help is needed to help with moving in. Trucks

and trailers are also needed. See Sheryl for more infor-

mation or if you would like to volunteer.

New Business: Elections are next month. The offices up

for election this year are vice president, Secretary, Coor-

dinator and one at large. At this time Jim McNeil and

Jim Jensen are running for vice president, Gary Weyers

for coordinator, Lydell Otley for at large and Margaret

Otley for secretary. If you would like to volunteer for any

of these offices see Bob Moberly. Also needed is a car

show committee. Craig Foster is unable to continue as

car show coordinator but will help as much as time al-

lows. The Rebel’s also need a newsletter editor as

Tracee is stepping down after 12 years. Gary Willey said

that he would do it if there is no one else.

Jim McNeil said he has the supplies for Santa letters.

See Jim if you would like to volunteer to help.

There was a motion to adjourn at 7:45pm.
