A week long trip to HK and macau to see some of the best properties in asia. Have a great time shopping, travelling, eating the finest Hong Kong Cuisine! Students will have the chance to learn more about the hotel industry in macau as well as hong kong from a technological as well as financial aspect. Attractions on the trip include trips to the HK Disneyland, Ocean World Theme Park as well as the famous victoria peak to understa...nd more about theme park operations. Also included would be a visit to the HK Polytechnic university in order to give our students a chance to network and renew our ties with UNLV singapore. This is a great opportunity for the students to experience Hong Kong and Macau culture as well as the hospitality industry that prevails there.

Your Handy Guide VISA

The vast majority of travellers, including citizens of Australia, Canada the EU, Israel, Japan New Zealand and the USA, are allowed to enter the Hong Kong SAR without a visa and stay for 90 days. Holders of British passports can stay up to 180 days without a visa, but British Dependent Territories and British Overseas citizens not holding a visa are only al-lowed to remain 90 days. Holders of many African (including South Af-rican), South American and Middle Eastern passports do not require visas for a visit of 30 days or less.

If you do require a visa, let us know as soon as possible and we will apply for you at an extra cost*. *cost to be confirmed, depending on nationality of passport.

The Venetian Macao The Venetian Macao is a hotel and casino resort in Macau owned by the Las Vegas Sands corporation. The Venetian is a 40-story, $2.4 billion anchor for the 7 hotels on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 10,500,000-square-foot (980,000 m2) Ve-netian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort –The Venetian in Las Vegas- and is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia and the 5th largest build-ing in the world by area. The main hotel tower was finished in July 2007 and the resort officially opened on August 28, 2007.The resort has 3000 suites, 1,200,000 sq ft (111,000 m2) of convention space, 1,600,000 sq ft (149,000 m2) of retail, 550,000 square feet (51,000 m2) of casino space – with 3400 slot machines and 800 gambling tables and a 15,000 seat arena for entertainment/sports events.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University PolyU's School of Hotel and Tourism Management was rated fourth best in the world, according to a study released in the international Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research in August 2005, the only non-US based institution on the top-five list. Besides, the School was the recipient of 2003 Institutional Achieve-ment Award from International Society of Travel and Tourism Educators for in-novation and contribution to the field of tourism education. Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) is a public institution of higher education that falls under the governance of the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, People’s Republic of China. It is the first tourism education institution certified by the United Nations World Tourism Organization’s Themis TedQual (Tourism Education Quality) system. IFT offers degree and professional programmes in a wide range of tourism-related disciplines such as hospitality, tourism business, heritage, events, retail and mar-keting, leisure and entertainment, sports and recreation, creative and cultural studies, and culinary arts. IFT also delivers various programmes at the executive and postgraduate levels in partnership with leading tourism schools in the world. The Institute is entrusted by the local authorities to conduct policy level research related to tourism planning and development.

It is set in the heart of Central, the commercial and banking district, and is within a three minute walk of some of Hong Kong's finest shopping and entertainment oppor-tunities.

City of Dreams City of Dreams, widely known as CoD or CoD Macau in the industry, is in the style of a podium, with four towers: namely the Hard Rock Hotel, Crown Towers Hotel, and the Grand Hyatt Macau (2 towers). A 47-story luxury apartment block is planned for a later phase of development. Its three-floor podium includes a mega-casino, over 200 shopping facilities and hotel guest facilities. City of Dreams has 420 000 sq feet of gaming space with 550 gaming tables and 1500 machines, over 20 restaurants and bars, including one of the largest in the city. The property also includes 175 000 sq ft of high-end retail space (The Boulevard) spread across two levels.

The first phase of City of Dreams opened on 1 June 2009, and the Grand Hyatt in November 2009. There are two theatres, the first, called "The Bubble", currently shows an immersive HD media projection presen-tation entitled "The Dragons Treasure". The second, the ―Dragone Theatre", will open in first half of 2010. It features an in-the-round water show, the largest of its kind in the world.

Terms and Conditions Passengers are deemed to have read, understood & accepted the following conditions. The Organizer shall be known as “The Company “in the conditions below. RESERVATIONS & DEPOSIT A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the tour fare is required for reservation. Full payment has to be paid mini-mum 15 days (Travel by Air). Failure to comply with result in an automatic cancellation of reservation and a forfeiture of deposit.
