Saturday 29th April Kick Off 18.oo (Alfredo di Stefano)
Both teams start their warm up rou nes before kick off. Real Madrid Cas lla have already guar-
anteed their place in the play-offs but want to finish as champions. It’s an important game for
both teams as Marino de Luanco are figh ng to keep out of the relega on spots.
T he
game
is
about
to begin. As with
all football
matches around
the world, the
decision on
whether to kick
off or which di-
rec on to start
from is decided
by the toss of a
coin. Game on!
The first 10 minutes sets the tone for the game. The game is played at a fran c
pace and the tackles go flying in.
It’s not long before Madrid score. The ball is sent over from the le by
Lucas to target and danger man “Joselu”. He makes no mistake. GOAL !
Lucas and Joselu con nued to link up well and the Marino Club Luanco de-
fence are struggling to deal with the pair.
… However the away team are chasing Joselu all over the pitch and are mak-
ing it clear, he’s not in for an easy a ernoon.
owever, as you can imagine there’s more than one star in the Real Ma-
drid team. Jese was also looking dangerous all a ernoon with his trickery.

Part of the crowd seem very relaxed about any possible late push by the away
team. Real are clearly ahead but Marino de Luanco have been ba ling hard.
Although clearly disappoint-
ed, Marino de Luanco can
be proud of their efforts.
Trailing 3 : 0 they scored
two late goals to give Ma-
drid a scare near the end.
