• Smell is a very direct sense. In order for you to smell something, molecules from that source have to make it to your nose. Everything you smell, therefore, is giving off molecules

What causes odours?

• The smell associated with odour is actually a chemical. This chemical bonds to the walls, fixtures, contents and is constantly recirculated throughout the home through the ventilation system

• Masking this chemical with air fresheners will only work for a time

and may pose its own health risks. The only way to ensure the smell does not return is to eliminate the chemical itself.

• Covering up an odour smell with a fresh coat of paint creates two
