Congratulations Robert and Adam who received their
Catholic Religion Emblem “Ad altar Dei”, along with
other Catholic Scouts from New Mexico, at the Saint
Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe on June 11th

leaders, Vikki and Joyce helped them grow in their faith;
henceforth, Adam and Robert can proudly wear their
emblem on their Cub Scout uniforms.

ELEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
All events are at OLMC Hall
--Food Pantry – second Thursday of the month at 11:00am
--Utility Assistance – every Friday 9:30am-11:30am
--Monthly member meeting - third Friday of the month
at noon
Please continue to bring grocery bags to the parish office
or to OLMC Hall on Fridays between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.
They are so helpful to us at the pantry and we appreciate
your response. Thank you!
We never know how desperate someone is for food when
they come to our pantry. One cannot always tell by their
demeanor. We were talking to a lady some time ago who
comes to every food pantry. We asked if she goes to the
other pantries in the area. She said “oh yes”. She paused
and said “there is no money for food-we eat whatever we
get from the pantries”. Thank you for your monetary
contributions and prayers, which make it possible for us to
do God’s work.

The “The Ten Commandments of Worship” (From the Archdioceses of Santa Fe Facebook Page)
1. I shall arrive on time. (Please have the courtesy to
remain in the back during the readings and homily).
2. I shall dress appropriately for worship. (Worship is
not the time to draw attention to yourself).
3. I shall experience and acknowledge Sunday as the
Day of the Lord and the Day of Rest.
4. I shall show reverence as I enter the House of
Prayer. (Genuflect or bow before entering your pew. It is
a sign of respect to the presence of the Lord. People are at
prayer; this is not the time for conversation).
5. I shall fully participate in the Mass. (That means
singing and responses as required).
6. I shall fast one hour before Communion. (Coffee
and chewing gum break your fast. It is a small discipline).
7. I shall offer a sign of reverence before receiving
Holy Communion. (Kneeling to receive the Lord’s Body
is not required, but is permitted).
8. I shall say “Amen” before receiving Communion.
(Meaning, “I believe”).
9. I shall give thanks after Communion. (Prayer in the
pew before the closing prayer).
10. I shall remain until the end of Mass. (Mass is not
over until the Celebrant leaves! However, some may have
a legitimate reason to leave early especially if disabled).
