Learning : 2.2.1 (a), 2.2.3Standard

Objectives: By the end of this lesson, pupils should be able to : 1) identify at least 8 out of 10 names of animals in the wordmaze (animals) correctly. 2) read and understand the story by answering Wh-questioning orally.

Activities : 1. Tc asks pupils about their previous lesson(animals), Ps sing the Baa Baa Black Sheep. 2. Tc puts up a slide show (In Grandfather’s farm). 3. Tc asks Ps to read out the story aloud. Tc ask several questions about the story.

- What do you see in the picture? - How many goats are there? - Where is Ali’s grandfather?

4. Tc shows pictures of animals via slideshow and asks pupils to articulate and make sounds of each animals.

5. Tc picks Ps randomly asks Ps to come in front to select words cards and read out loud. Then place the words next to the picture. 6. In pairs, Ps take turn to read the word card while the other shows the

correct picture. 7. Tc distributes word maze asks Ps to do it in pairs.

8. Tc ask Ps to sing the previous song.
