Reaching Out From Graniteville First Bapst Church P. O. Box 119 76 Canal Street Graniteville, S. C. 29829 Church Phone: 803-663-7781 August 2018 FROM OUR PASTOR “Blinded by the god of this age” “whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is The image of God, should shine on them” (11 Corinthians 4:4) To be blinded is simply to not see things as they are. Non Christians are completely lost because of their blindness. However, Christians must be aware of the blindness that can occur in their lives. Paul warns us in our scripture that the “god of the age” sets out to blind people of Jesus Christ. Lost people are clearly blinded to the truth, which is Jesus Christ. Yet it is Christians that also can be blinded. Satan tries to get believers to doubt that Christ can do what He promised. Christ comes to us as a light (John 1:4,5,9). He will show us the path via the light that only Jesus can apply . Don’t be blinded by the god of this age. Instead, look to Jesus, search, desire, and pray for the light. FROM OUR PASTOR

“Blinded by the god of this age”

“whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is

The image of God, should shine on them” (11 Corinthians 4:4)

To be blinded is simply to not see things as they are.

God Bless, Pastor Todd
