Re-Grip Ultra Plate
14 Crosshill Road, Crumlin, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland
Our Re-Grip ULTRA Plate has been designed for high footfall applications. The plate system can be retrofitted onto existing structures such as walk-ways, bridges, ramps and factory floors to provide a high slip resistant and safe pedestrian walking area.
Our Re-Grip ULTRA Plate is non-porous, resists dirt build up, is easily cleaned and can withstand aggressive cleaning agents. The GRP Plate can be easily retrofitted onto existing concrete, steel or timber structures, and further provides a safe and durable alternative to steel and plastic anti-slip products.

Preparation
Ensure area is clean and dry, and free from loose and defective material. Any damaged surface areas should be patch repaired to provide a reasonably flat and consistent surface.
Installation
Drill holes 15mm in from all edges at approx. 500mm centres. Depending on the width of the Re-Grip ULTRA Plate, it may be necessary to provide fixing points also at 500mm centres down the middle. Mechanical fixings and gap filling adhesive are advised to be used.
Recommended Mechanical Fixings
For wet and external applications we recommend the use of stainless steel fixings.
All fasteners should feature low profile heads such as Truss Heads.
1. Fixing onto Timber
Stainless Steel Flange Head Pozi 4.8 x 19mm
2. Fixing onto Steel Plate
Stainless Steel Rivets – 4.8 x 25mm
• Align and position the Re-Grip ULTRA Plate over the Steel Plate.
• Using a powered screw driver and M5 bit, drill through both, creating enough holes to permanently fix the Re-Grip ULTRA Stair Tread Cover.
• Using a rivet gun, affix the Re-Grip ULTRA Plate to the Steel Plate.
3. Fixing onto Concrete
50 x 6mm stainless steel hammer fixings
• Using a masonry drill bit, drill through the Re-Grip ULTRA Plate and into the substrate the required depth.
• Hammer fix in for a secure fit.
• If the fixing needs to be removed simply unscrew and remove. The fixing can be re-used if it has not been bent or plug lost.

Gap Filling Adhesive
Apply a 6mm bead of the high strength gap-filling adhesive around the periphery of the panel, and in horizontal stripes at approximately 250mm centres. Press the panel firmly to the substrate immediately, to ensure adequate transfer of the adhesive. Secure with the mechanical fixings, and allow the adhesive sealant to cure before allowing excessive traffic to use the areas. Under normal circumstances and condi-tions, a firm bond will be achieved in about 1 hour
