With GARDENA, your lawn care will be almost effortless. The basic principles: a healthy lawn needs sufficient air, water, nutrients and light. That’s why, during aeration, specially ground blades cut a few millimetres into the turf. At the same time, the lawn is freed from matted grass, moss and weeds. You should aerate lane by lane – with strongly matted lawns, also horizon-tally to the lanes. It’s also a good idea to top dress your lawn with sand so that your lawn will be able to better absorb water, air and nutrients. Depending on the condition, you should aerate your lawn once or twice per season. That will keep your lawn in shape and beautiful. The best times of year for aeration are spring and autumn.

Unlike as with the Lawn Aerator, you can use the GARDENA Lawn Rake all the time. This helps to successfully prevent matted grass and moss.
