EvaluationKLMK will conduct a thorough evaluation of the internal resources, tools andprocesses that are available to complete the project delivery cycle. Thisis most valuable to integrated health systems that have robust in-houseplanning, design and management groups that are looking for waysto enhance their abilities and improve the delivery of their capitalprojects.
Deliverable: Organizational Assessment• Identifies gaps in the process• Recommends appropriate structure• Provides resources to enhance the organization’s
performance
EnhancementWorking collaboratively with the client, KLMK will assist indeveloping standardized tools and processes as well as provide guidance for internal awareness and education. To avoid waste and reduce cost, our approach engages all ancillary internal participants in project delivery such as Engineering, Infection Control, Finance, Materials Managementand Information Technology.
Deliverable: Manual of Practice• Project delivery road map• Standardized operating procedures• Structured processes
ValidationOnce the Manual of Practice is implemented, independent validation and
verification should be conducted to ensure that the plan is achieving the goals of the organization. From time to time, further refinements
must be identified and integrated into the plan. KLMK provides Val-idation services to existing clients as well as to those who may
have independently developed standard operating proceduresand want to determine their adoption rate and effectiveness.
Deliverable: Validation Report • Identifies what is working well and what is not• Provides a plan to address those items
that require action• Applicable to a specific project focusing on scope
schedule, budget and the likelihood of meeting established goals
ReviewThe Validation Report will provide a benchmark to measure
against. Whether for the overall project delivery process or an individual project, KLMK recommends quarterly or bi-monthly
reviews depending on the situation.
