Warren Township Council of PTA’s Presents Homefest 2018

Friday, September 7th (more information pages 12-14 of this newsletter)

For those of you not familiar with our Warren Township Council of PTAs annual event called Homefest, here is a quick summary: Homefest is a district wide PTA sponsored event to bring all 17 Warren Township schools together and have some fun! This year the event is on Friday, September 7th. It is held on the campus of Warren Central High School. The event includes: 1. A Fun Run for all students Pre-K through 8th grade (check out the times on

the flyers) located on the southern portion of the campus near 16th street. You can buy a homefest t-shirt or wear your school spirit wear shirt to represent RPMS! Check out 93.9’s DJ Justin Luvv as he emcees the event! Plus, this year you can register online!!!!

squareup.com/store/homefest

2. There will be food trucks setup in the Performing Arts Center circle located

on the west side of the school. 3. There are vendors setup just inside the

hallway leading from the food trucks north to the fieldhouse and natatorium. We had 30 vendor spots available and they are sold out the first week of advertising!

4. In the fieldhouse (the large gym located across from the pool), you will find the Warren Wellness Extravaganza! The Wellness Extravaganza event is now part of Homefest!

5. Then stay for WCHS home football game vs Lawrence Central at 7 pm. New this year, there will be a half-time parade to recognize all of our schools in the district.
