Founded in 1986 by Frank and Gilbert Ros, the Paco Chicano brandwas born out of the neo-romantic movement from Andalusia.Paco chicano soon reveals itself as a mystical yet avant-gardist shifteduniverse, flled with rocknroll and edge. The two brothers and Spainnatives decide to make a bet from their early start: to revolutionize theworld of Fashion through playful use of their glamorous and novative style.Their success takes off in 1988 after producing the cover of the famousGipsy Kings' album entitled "Mosaïque", which sold millions of copiesaccross the globe, therefore propelling them to the top of their glory.

Frank and Gilbert Ros are primarly respected for their strongattachments to traditional values, their main focus being to romanticallydevelop a sense of tradition in the RTW (ready to wear) feld.Values such as respect, family, love, and spirituality are strongly reinforced and represented through the brand image. The Virgin Mary for instance,and idyllic symbol for Paco Chicano, remains a timeless fgure. Bohemian style, glamor and luxury prevail as well, adding a sense ofsensuality that is set off by a rich palette of colors tinted with a golden keytouch, An invitation to a whole new realm of seduction, grace and poetry.

The brothers Frank and Gilbert Ros were born in Lorca, a small townof Andalusia, from a Cathedral restorator father and a seamstress motherwho dressed all of Spain's aristocracy. The Ros brothers were raised in abohemian and artsy universe, which gifted them with an open mind and apronounced taste for aesthetics and elegance. As early as 1986, theyrevolutionize the fashion industry with their innovative style and glamor,quickly becoming the ultimate fore-runners of "neo-romantism" as well aswhat was called the "Latin mystical touch". Their freedom of thought wasrevolutionary.

The brothers had always known how to stand out from other marketparts players, specifcally through using their undeniable sense ofinnovation and boldness. Within 30 years, the brothers came up withmany trends and always were able to exploit patterns before they even gotcreated. They were fore-runners when it came to using Swarovski crystalsfor RTW collections and were faithful spokespersons each time amovement was meaningful to them. These ideas and trends were subsequently applied by many houses lateron, throughout their collections.
