In February 2016 Charl sold the business to embark on a new journey to service as a Consultant to the light steel framing industry.

Charl van Zyl (CEO and Founder) has more than 25 years of international business experience and has been specializing for the last 12 years in the Light Steel Frame Industry. He started his own company in South Africa in 2007 beginning with delivering roof truss systems to the local market. Within 8 months his business became the largest LGS roof truss business in the province. After specializing in LSF roof truss systems, Charl developed his business to residential and commercial building projects with much success.

In 2011 Charl began a master franchise business, franchising LSF businesses in South Africa. The master franchisor then provided assistance and guidance to the franchisees and personally assisted them in setting up their businesses to meet market needs. The following divisions were formed: structural engineering, detail shop drawings, real estate, property development, project management, product development research, quantity surveying, sales & marketing and graphic design services, to ensure their on-going success in the industry. His company has become the largest LSFB Company in Africa and therefore one of the biggest LGS companies in the world though the franchise set-up. In 2014 his company won the South African Franchisees Ass. FASA FRANCHISER OF THE YEAR 2014 & Emerging Business Entrepreneur 2013 & Southern African Institute of Steel Construction LSFB category winner 2014.

In a very short space of time the consulting business proved to be extremely successful but with one short-fall; existing and new clients requested that aside from consultation they needed him to build the projects under his supervision and RANCOR was created to facilitate this need.

Charl will bring with him the experience of more than 600+ individual projects in LSF, where he has been involved in all aspects of design, project management, pre-planning, and the construction of projects – always with a hands-on approach to projects, leading to successful completion.

He has delivered projects in over 15 countries and is registeredas both Chartered Engineer in the UK (EC) and Professional Engineer in South Africa (ECSA). Rob isa structural engineer with extensive design experience in all main building materials complementedby his in-depth knowledge of construction works and contract administration.

A registered professional technologist, Gordon Jacobsen graduated in Electrical Engineering (HeavyCurrent) at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 1986. Gordon's 31 years of expertise

includes a wide range of electrical engineering, specializing in infrastructure, alternative powersolutions, industrial and commercial projects and process control. He is competent in the design,

documentation, procurement, project management and commissioning of electrical sections ofprojects, and proficient in the mechanical portion as well.

Andries is a registered professional engineer. After graduating from the University of Pretoria incivil engineering in 1983, he has been involved in a variety of large engineering projects which

include industrial buildings with related components. He specialises in the planning, design andimplementation of structural engineering components for industrial buildings.

Charl is a professional architect with 30 years' experience in master planning, design andconstruction of industrial and commercial buildings. Charl has acted as principal consultant forseveral multi-disciplinary projects in the industrial and commercial sector.Currently involved in the planning and design of energy efficient and environmentally friendlyindustrial facilities in Africa for various local and international companies.
