Rakhi the sacred thread that binds us together
This bond shall remain with me forever.
The joy to tie you a rakhi is immense
The love between you and me is abundant.
If I search for a brother like you, I’ll be lost
You are the person who loves me the most.
Rakhi comes in the month of August, beckoning
This day we celebrate is amazing!
Every second with you I cherish
These memories from my heart will never perish.TAVISHI BAGARIA

Rakhi is the magical ribbon,
Through this we celebrate a great festival, Raksha Bandhan.
Like the bond between the sun and the sky
So special is the bond between my sister and I.
This band tied to me,
is a sign of protection.
My pretty little sister, here with joy
Promising a bond of love and affection.
We brothers have a sacred duty,
To protect our sisters safely.
To always be by their side,
through a magical road, we laugh and ride.
Here we are, with this day symbolising
A bond of love, joy and protection.
My little sister, don’t you worry
I’m there for you always, full of fun and affection.
KRISH MODI 7 – B 3069
Early in the morning
I scramble out of bed,
Run and get dressed ,
Rush out of my home; excited, for ‘tis Rakshabandhan.
Rakhi, the mystical magical thread,
Triggers excitement from toe to head,
The shiny dazzling beads,
To remind him in all tasks he succeeds,
Placing Chandhan and Kumkum,
And feeding chocolates to our brothers,
As the music goes along we hum.
We express our gratitude to our dear brothers.
This is the day they vow,
To protect their dear sisters with love.
V. ATHMIKA7 – A S – 116
A string adorned with beads,
Tied onto a brother’s wrist to protect him from evil deeds!
Some simple, some grand,
Tied by his sister’s loving hand.
A brother’s love is sure to last forever,
He is someone presented to her as a fantastic soulmate.
Quarrels between them do happen,
Till they are laid in a coffin
Their feelings can never be expressed in a word
As it’s something very precious to be treasured.
V. MANASSA 7 – B 2943
Rakhi is a thread that comes in many colours like red
A rakhi is so magical it’s like science with its chemicals!
A rakhi is tied to our brothers to show our love for each
other.
It is a symbol of a sister’s love
Which is more beautiful than a dove.
‘tis a bond that remains forever
It is never going to break, ever!
AVANI BATRA7 – B 3315
When the day of celebration is about to come
We get excited and wait for the fun.
‘This a special occasion
Which increases brother and sister relation.
Sisters tie us rakhis in the big school yard,
In return, we give them chocolates and cards.
Rakhis they make, like fairies
Their chocolates taste sweeter than berries.
Oh! Our dear lovely sisters,
We promise to protect you always!
RAGHAV AGARWALA7 – C 2929
Rakhi is said to be the sacred- sweet thread,
That is what I have been told.
I tie it to my brother, with trust and love
He is my brother and me his little white dove.
He cares for me, he’s my best friend
He’s there for me, by my side till the end;
A lot of help he will rend.
He doesn’t allow tears to fall off my eyes,
He supports me and helps me reach new heights.
For all you did, I give you all my love,
From the bottom of my heart, oh dear brother!MAAHI JAIN

Raksha Bandhan has arrived,
Brothers are waiting for the rakhis to be tied.
This magical thread has a history.
But how it started is quite a mystery.
Once Lord Krishna went to a fight,
His finger was bleeding and it was a terrible sight.
With love and affection, Draupadi tied a cloth around his finger
She never let the injury linger.
This is the power and relationship between a brother and sister
As the rakhi ties them in a bond forever.
Rakhi is not just a thread to be tied,
It unites us together and makes us smile.MOPURI BHAVIK SAI

I have faith in you,
I am proud of you,
I trust you.
This is a magical bond between you and me,
Signified by a beautifully decorated thread called Rakhi.
With you around, I am never alone,
No matter what happens,
You are always by my side.
Movie nights, partners in crime,
Helping me get away from dark thoughts of my mind.
You are my superhero,
You have made me reach great heights from zero,
You are my first love
You projected me as a precious dove.
You are my protector,
Which can never be any better.
AASHNA KATARIA8 – A 3203
You support me when I am in need
Your place can be taken by no other
You encourage me when I need it the most,
For, you are my brother.
For all you do, I tie just a rakhi for you.
We sisters work hard the nights before
Just to make beautiful rakhis for you.
On the morning of Rakshabandhan,
You wake up to see a rakhi on your wrist.
A simple thread may have fed
A lot in me and you.
The rakhi is on, just for a day
But a love of a brother lasts every day.
You are my adorable brother
And you will be forever…

I wake up in the morning
To see something shining
Right above my head
Which is mesmerising...
It has a golden thread,
A Rakhi, I call it,
To tie to my brother.
A symbol of love and care,
For a relation so rare
May my brother always be safe I pray,
Troubles and sorrows kept at bay. KIRTI SUDHAGAR8 – B 2812
Rakhi strengthens our bond
With our brothers of whom , we are so fond.
By me, when my brothers gets the rakhi tied
We promise that no matter what ,we will always
Stand by each other’s side.
Oh you are so amazing !
I told my brother ,
But deep down in my heart I know
To you , all the successes in my life I owe
You are there with me all the time
While being a partner in crime
“I tie to you my brother” I said,
Rakhi – The magical thread.
RESHMIKA S V8 – C 3264
A relationship which is forever
A bond which diminishes never,
Shared between a brother and a sister.
With so much affection in heart
A sister ties rakhi to her brother
For a beautiful future.
Brothers might steal all the chocolates but,
That doesn’t mean they aren’t caring
On this Rakshabandhan, let’s bring back the
Cherishable moments of sharing.
Rakhi is a thread which binds
Two souls in a bond forever.YASHSVI AGRAWAL

Two souls converging from head to leg
Binds our love together
Making sure we’ll remember
Where we came from,
What we mean to each other.
Memories of our sweet childhood games never fade,
It’s times that change...
Everytime I was hurt
You felt answerable
Proud to have a brother so adorable!!!
