Rajan Wadhera is the President of the Automotive Sector ofMahindra and Mahindra. He is a Member of the Group ExecutiveBoard and also the President of the Automotive ResearchAssociation of India (ARAI), the leading Homologation andCertification authority in India.

Rajan has a B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Bombay and is a Graduateof the Advanced Management Programme from the WhartonBusiness School, USA.

He has more than 32 years of diverse experience in various facetsof automotive as well as farm equipment sector like Research &Development, Technology, and Sourcing & Operations.

Under his leadership, as Chief Executive of Technology, ProductDevelopment and Sourcing of Auto and Farm Sectors, at Mahindraand Mahindra Ltd, Rajan led the development of projects likeXUV5OO, e2o, Xylo, Thar, Maxximo, Genio, Quanto, New GenerationScorpio, Jeeto, TUV3OO, Arjun NOVO and KUV1OO. He wasinstrumental in setting up an offshore Engineering and DevelopmentCentre for Auto Sector, the North American Technology Center(NATC), in Detroit. He was also instrumental in setting up theMahindra Research Valley (MRV) at Chennai.

Rajan is the Chairman of the Board at Mahindra Trucks and BusesLimited (MTBL), Mahindra Heavy Engines Limited (MHEL),

and Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA). He is also aDirector on a holding Company of Pininfarina, MANA, andMahindra Electric Mobility Ltd.
