A very good morning I bid to all of you. I, Nur Arissa Binti Mohd Taib from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seri Indah would like to welcome you to our garden. Inspired from the movie Avatar, A Walk Through Pandora is realized and presented before your eyes. In conjunction with the Flower and Garden Festival Putrajaya 2014 Floria Putrajaya 2014, we have designed a garden that complements Florias theme flower Begonia Mesmerising Colours. With the concept of a fantasy garden, we try to create something different that is purely imaginary. If you look to the back, the swirling arrangement of tree branches on yellow bamboo adds a more artistic and fantasy value to the background. Moving to the center of the garden, what you see is a combination of Asplenium, Bamboo and Aeschynanthus or Chlorophytum plants of different heights and sizes creating the existence of a new plant.On the ground, there are bushes of Begonias from different species, those of the flowering begonias and of the colourful leaves. To accompany the Begonias on the ground, we also incorporated Bromoliads, Aphelandra, Nephrolepis and small Asplenium. Coming to the front, there are arranngements of stones to add character to the Avatar inspired garden. There is also a mini fountain that is surrounded by Anthurium and lilies to soothe the scenery. This garden portrays commitment and coorperation between teachers, pupils and parents to bring forth to you and the visitors a garden that is special but most importantly that promotes conservation of the environment.As a farewell token, do enjoy this sketch.
