This is not a course where you can sit snoozing at the back of a lecture theatre.

From day one you will be recording interviews, editing and mixing audio and discussing ideas and techniques.

What can you expect after graduation?

The Radio FdA prepares you for further study or media work in several ways:

Further study entry level jobs in media

internships with Sky, BBC or other organisations

freelance work in the industry

temporary cover presenting shifts - talk and music radio

Top-up BA (Hons) Broadcast Media - specialising in radio.

Broadcast Assistant, online assistant, runner.

Progressing to entry level or higher role.

Supported by beepurple, MEC

Progressing to long term contract with station, better timeslot or station

Progressing to Producer, presenter, scripting, journalist.

Could you study here?

You don’t need any prior experience with radio production equipment.

You need to be able to express yourself well in writing, though we will offer you help to develop this further on the course.
