Katoomba will be closed to traffic and open forpedestrian access only.

Services:Pick up outside Clarendon in LurlineStreet, on corner of Lurline and Gang Gang Streets,
and in Goldsmith Place near Hotel Gearin.
The Parade does NOT end at the topof Katoomba Street. It keeps going
around the corner along MainStreet to Yeamans Bridge
roundabout and up ParkeStreet ending at CarringtonCellars (see map). So be sure to spread out. You won’t missanything, we promise!
GRANDPARADE The Grand Parade starts at 11.30 ambut it is a goodidea to get into position along Katoomba, Main and
Parke Streets by 11.00 am so you don’t missanything. If you are part of the parade, assemble at
Katoomba Public School oval (Merriwa Streetentrance) no later than 10.30 am.d
SAMBA NINJA DRUMMING WORKSHOPSWITH TOM THE POM
Held at Katoomba Public School Hall from 9:30 am.Learn some simple rhythms and be the stars
of the parade. This event and the troupe’s part in the parade are very popular.
Complementary ID bands for kids! Winter Magic Festival sees more and more
attendees each year and understands that it’s easy for little ones to get lost in a big crowd.
Parents can grab FREE children’s identification bandsfrom 9am at the Winter Magic Festival Info Standlocated at thetop of Katoomba Street near the train station.While there you can purchase a Winter Magic Festival Keep Cup or make a donation to support this terrific volunteer run communityfestival! ★If you do lose track of a child, the pick up points are: ●1Winter Magic Festival Info Stand, ●2GalleryONE88 and ●3Shop 2 Civic Place (WMF Base Camp). To reduce the amount ofmixed waste going tolandfill, there will be 9 Staffed Rubbish Rooms at the festival, each containing bins for:
GREEN ORGANIC WASTE - biodegradablepackaging, food scraps, paper, serviettes
YELLOW RECYCLING - cans, bottles, recyclable plastics, glass
RED GENERAL WASTE - everything else
The Rubbish Rooms are staffed by volunteers who will assist you touse the correct bin for your waste. NOTE: THE COUNCIL STREETBINS WILL BE COVERED AND NOT IN USE FOR THE DAY.

PLEASE NOTE that the majority ofthe roads reopen at 6pm and allstages and official festival program /activities will be concluded prior tothis with the exception of the mainstage at Carrington Place.The fireworks (as part of the closingceremony) will commence at6:30pm followed shortly after by thelast performance on the main stage.Katoomba St fully reopens at 9pm.
