Setting The Temperature
Tochangetheheattemperaturesetting,pushthe or buttonstoselectapreferredtemperaturesetting.
air Temperature Only-----------------------------------------------Ifthereisonlyanairtemperaturesensor(nofloorsensor),thethermostatoperatestocontrolyourdesiredairtemperature.
Floor Temperature Only--------------------------------------------Iftheairsensorhasbeendisabled,thethermostatwillonlymaintainfloortemperatureandignoreairtemperature.Thisoperationisrecommendedforareassuchasbathroomstoensurethattilefloorsarewarmtothetouch.
Floor and air Temperature -----------------------------------------Iftheairsensoristurnedonandafloorsensorisconnected,thethermostatwillmaintainyourdesiredairtemperatureaswellasaminimumfloortemperature.Thisoperationisrecommendedforareaswithlargewindowsthatallowthesuntoshineintoaroomandkeepitwarmwithouttheneedforheat.Thiscanallowthefloorstocooloffduringtheafternoon.Whenthesungoesdown,itcantakealongtimeforthefloorstogetwarmagain.Thismaycausetheroomtocoolofftoomuchintheearlyevening.Afloorminimumsettingcanhelpwiththisconditionbymaintainingafloorminimumtemperature.Keepinmindthefloorminimumtemperaturewilloverridetheairtemperature,andifsettoohigh,mayoverheattheroom.Thisoperationisalsorecommendedforroomswithhardwoodfloors.Settingfloorminimumandmaximumtemperaturesisawayofenhancingthecomfortofyourlivingspacewhileprotectingyourfloorcoverings.
