It has five columns of text, spread around the photos. The main photo has all three numbers, standing with their instruments, this portrays the music style that they have; guitar, bass guitar and drums are linked to rock music.

The colours are stereotypically boy colours of blue, black and grey, however red has also been used giving it a different vibe.

The headline on this double page spread is small making it look insignificant, but a reader would know what the article is about from the photo on the opposite page.

The title of ‘Muse’ is very small- this is surprising as they are a very popular band, however the beginning of the article uses a large ‘M’ this gives the article a better effect.

and makes the page look neater.

Many of the images slightly overlap each other or are placed in the centre, a feature which was common on the front cover as well . This keeps a general flow of design throughout the

magazine,

The font used on the front cover is very simplistic which makes it look sophisticated yet still striking. Like on the front cover a sans serif font is used, which gives a classic look.

The palette of colours used on the contents are very similar to the front cover. The banner and mastheads are in red which is very commonly used on the titles as it is a bold colour which accentuates the importance of the text, which is often in black or white.

A white background helps make the rest of the page really striking, the white I s a neutral colour which is very often used as a background as it is simple and connotes youthfulness and simplicity. The ‘Q Review’ is written in red instead of black which is the colour used for the rest of the font. This is to highlight the importance of the text and to show it isn't the same as the rest of the text.

This is the dominate image as it is conotating that this is about the lights that he likes to show off with his performances by using his voice and light displays.

The ‘ground control to’ is another connotation as it is a line of one of his very famous songs called ‘space oddity’

Ground control to is in a formal italic writing. As it is emphasising about David Bowie having ground control as control is powerful over staging world.
