A legacy of performance. VMT received the prestigious Aegis Excellence Award for surpassing US

Navy expectations in quality and delivery. When the first VMT reverse osmosis system was designed and installed on the U.S. Navy sub-marine USS Dolphin in 1993, the system had to undergo rigorous testing. This was part of the approval process that proved the plant passed with a 100% rating. The equipment performed flawlessly, 24/7 for 90 consecutive days.

match for AquaPro® spiral wound membranes, which remove impuri-ties from seawater, brackish water, fresh water and tap water. Proven processes are used in the design, development, testing and manu-facturing of AquaPro® spiral wound membranes. Dedicated attention to the details of manufacturing include using the highest grade of polyam-ide thin-film composite materials. VMT also manufactures cartridge filter elements to fit standard and custom filter housings.

Practical and reliable fresh water supply The LT desalinator offers fresh water independence for ocean crossings, extended voyages or cruising where dock water supplies are unreliable.

The SW RO desalination systems are designed for rugged use in harsh environments where a large quantity of potable water is required. RMF Remineralizer Systems

The Racor Village Marine Tec. Media Filtration Systems offer multi-media performance and are specifically engineered to operate with Village Marine Pure Water (PW) Series Watermakers. Themedialayersareoptimizedtoremove particulate matter from the feed stream ahead of the micron filtration system.

A proprietary mix and measure of media targets particulate matter such as turbidity and suspended solids that will otherwise overload the micron filtration array of an RO system. In addition, the advanced media design reduces iron, manganese and organics in the feed stream.

Racor Village Marine RemineralizerSystemsofferpHneutralizationofROwaterandare specifically engineered to operate with Village Marine PW and SW Series Watermakers. The media restores a buffer capacity to raise pH and reduce fresh water “aggressiveness” against metal pipes and fixtures.

TheRemineralizerworksbyslowly dissolving calcite into the product water to add hardness

and raise pH near neutral. The reaction is essentially self-limiting, so only a small amount of hardness is added.

The tank is made from spun wound fiberglass composite tank with a polyethylene liner. Piping connections are PVC schedule 80. The base is carbon steel.
