Sheet9General Remarks :1As on date of inspection the work is completed. The field officers are not informed the progress of work stagewise, they are informed only after completion of the work. Hence the field officers are requested to inform the progress of work in future stage wise for effective Q C inspections at regular intervals.2The exact location of patch was not recorded in M Book and hence it could not possible to verify the patch work below top layer.3Depths are not verified to avoid further damages to the road as the patch work is of scattered nature. Hence compared on area basis.4The Patchwork surface finishings is not done as per specification.5B T edges of patch work are disturbed.6The patch work done area at some places disturbed. The field officers are requested to notify the contractor of the disturbed patch work and see that it should be rectified immidiatly.7High berms are existing near patch work area. Hence The field officers are requested to immidiatly remove the high berms to avoid stagnation of water.8The quentity of BT patch work for 40mm could not be assessed as it is covered with 12mm BT patch work.9The field officers have executed WMM/12mm patch work and 40mm/12mm patch work. At the time of inspection the work is completed, hence the surface areas of patch work done with 12mm is only verified.10The Executive Engineer is requested to effect the recovery of Rs.27 675/- from contractor's bills towards less quentity in 12mm patch work and intimate the recovry particulars such as MB No. and CB Voucher No. to this ofice in the compliance report.Note :1The Q C R furnished above are not basis for making payment on the work as it does not purport to be covering all the aspects of the work and field Engineers are requested to check up the work and see that the work is executed to specified standards and satisfy themselves before making payment.2The field officers are requested to check the recovery calculations as per agreement conditions before effecting the recovery.3The recovery proposed is as per the E-in - C(R&B) (Admn & Roads) circular Memo No. 12582/vigl/1/2005-1 dated. 17.10.2006. The Executive Engineer is requested to keeping view regarding recovery to be effected.4The recovery amount proposed in the QCR does not include the item of work for which rectification is required as pointed out in general remarks. The Q C R issued based on the observations made on the day of inspection and if any reveling or damages occurs/taken place subsequently should be watch carefully and proper action shall be taken for rectification.
