Reverberations – The multiple echoes of our 12 yearlong transformation; from last minute mug-ups to overdue assignments, from Prison Break level class escapes to much-awaited field trips , from distributing chocolates to after school treats at Milky Way.. These three days will thunder with the echoes of their memories. These three days will radiate the joy of schooling.

Time flies over us but leaves its shadow behind. This time, last year, students from schools across Chennai were getting utterly reverbed. They were having the time of their lives.

One of the main highlights of last year’s Reverbs was the presence of Singer Mano as the special guest on Day 1 and Anirudh Ravichander (Our Alumnus) on Day 2

LUMOS, IT’S YOUR TIME TO SHINE!

Come find happiness right here, right now. Because happiness can be found even in the darkest of TIMES, if one only remembers to turn on the light. It’s time to light it up!

Debates, dumb charades, JAM, Block and Tackle, Green Screen, Shipwreck, Adzap, Basketball, Football, Cricket, Creative Writing and Lexicon are some of the many events that can be expected over the course of these three days.

Expecto Patronum your fears and inhibitions.

Accio three days of pure fun.

You don’t need broom sticks to soar new heights here.

All you need to do is Alohomora the door to your talents.

Feel the magic. Work with all your heart to be the chosen one.

The beginning of the tunnelNothing worth having comes easy and the grandeur that is the Reverberations 2016 too could only be achieved with the tremendous weight of constant planning and rehearsals interspersed with missed lectures, exams and projects by the Student Council Members and teachers. A large number of seniors spent exhausting hour after hour perfecting their choreography despite the unrelenting humidity of the Chennai weather. But the cool hint of nostalgia was hard to miss. So this is Reverberations 2k16, the Hall of Fame for your notorious talents, a place where stories are created, legends are born and moments become memories… It’s time to shine!

What we look forward to:The wildly entertaining flash mob, the groovy, funky music, the gracefully synchronized dance performances, the invigorating, awe inspiring events, nail biting finales—and then obviously the pasta, popcorn, wraps and fries and our familiar Domino’s Pizza… PSBB never fails to exceed high expectations and this time Reverberations has a few special surprises for you – Mr Arvind also known as S.A, a ‘film-maker by profession and stand-up comedian out of frustration.’ A refreshing twist has been added not only to the events but to the venue as well – our own YGP Auditorium.

But most of all what we really look forward to is the people; we look forward to connecting with different people, looking past our differences and reaching out to each other; and also not to forget, three days jam packed with absolute fun.

“Even though it is raining, it is time to shine” – Amrutha Desikan, Cultural Secretary
