#SECURITY: The New Gospel Temple (TNGT) requires and provides
paid security for all events.
FOOD: The New Gospel Temple (TNGT) provides all paid catering
services for events . If your event does not require a caterer, food may
be warmed in racks, pans w/sterno in the facility kitchen until and
during your event. Kitchen may not be used for cooking or serving
food.
+SETUP/TEARDOWN: You are required to contact the facility
maintenance/manager at least 2 weeks prior to your event date to
make arrangements for floor setup as well as to review any additional
details.

THE NEW GOSPEL TEMPLE COGIC and R & J BANQUET HALL RENTAL AGREEMENT
It is agreed, by and between The New Gospel Temple Church of God In Christ, (hereafter referred to as The New Gospel Temple or TNGT) , and the
undersigned Lessee:
1. Lessee is given permission to use meeting rooms and areas described in Rental Checklist attached to this agreement for the event and the time
periods set forth in Rental Checklist.
2. Lessee agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of The New Gospel Temple, a copy of which rules and regulations are attached hereto.
3. Lessee is responsible for and agrees to repair, or pay the cost of repairing, any damage caused by the Lessee to the rooms and areas described in
Rental Checklist, and to any other portion of the building or premises.
4. The New Gospel Temple is not liable for any lost or stolen articles.
5. In its use of the rooms and areas, the Lessee agrees to comply with all applicable state, county and city laws, ordinances, and regulations. No
alcoholic beverages or illegal substances may be served or sold on or near the premises of the facility.
6. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN OR NEAR THE FACILITIES.
7. The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The New Gospel Temple, its officers, employees, and agents against any and all claims,
demands, actions, or causes of action of whatsoever kinds, arising or resulting directly or indirectly from the use, or occupancy, of the rooms and
areas by the Lessee.
8. The Lessee agrees to pay a security deposit of $100 which will be returned seven days after event if the facility is in said conditions per TNGT
facility clean-up procedures.
9. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to hold Lessee's reservation. This deposit is applicable towards the balance of the rental fee.
10. All none sufficient funds checks received will be charged a $50.00 service fee.
11. The remaining balance for the leased event is due and payable to The New Gospel Temple by certified funds, (i.e. cashiers check, money order,
guaranteed check, cash, or credit card) thirty (30) days prior to the leased event.
12. Lessee agrees to You and your guests agree to release the R & J Banquet Hall from any and all liability in connection with the use of any name,
voice and/or any photograph, image, likeness, word/s or statement or any part thereof, in any and all media this includes the Internet, any number of
times, in any and all manners, and by any and all means now or hereafter known, for any fundraising, trade, promotional or other purposes, without
approval.

TNGT / R &J BANQUET HALL - RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. The Lessee agrees to pay (at the published rental rate) for any additional hours which the room or rooms and areas are used beyond the
hours contracted for, whether used before or after the hours contracted for, upon prior arrangements with The New Gospel Temple.
2. The Lessee agrees to remove all trash, garbage, or other type of litter which accumulated during the use of the premises, place such mate-
rials in the approved garbage receptacles, and leave the room or rooms and areas in a clean condition as outlined in the Facility Clean-up
Procedure sheet included in the rental package. Failure to comply with these procedures may result in the partial or full loss of security
deposit upon building inspection.
3. The Lessee shall not injure, nor mar, nor in any manner deface said premises, and shall not cause or permit anything to be done whereby
the said premises shall be in any manner injured, marred or defaced; and will not drive or permit to be driven nails, hooks, tacks, staples,
or screws into any part of the building or furniture, and will not make, nor allow to be made, any alterations of any kind to said building.
4. If premises, or any portion of said building, during the term of this agreement shall be damaged by the act, default or negligence of the
Lessee's agents, employees, patrons, guests, or any person admitted to said premises by the Lessee. The Lessee will pay to The New
Gospel Temple COGIC (TNGT), upon demand, such sum as shall be necessary to restore said premises to their present or required
improved condition. The Lessee hereby assumes full responsibility for the character, acts and conduct of all persons admitted to said
premises, or to any portion of said building by the consent of the said Lessee.
5. The Lessee will not block or cause to be blocked any passageway that will be a hazard in case of an emergency.
6. The Lessee will not post or exhibit, nor allow to be posted or exhibited, signs, advertisements, show-bills, lithographs, posters or cards of
any description, inside or in front, or on or about any part of said building, except in areas designated by the Facility Manager or a
TNGT official staff person. Said signs, advertisements, etc. must relate to the performance, exhibit, seminar, or function to be given in the
leased space.
7. The Lessee shall take down and remove at the termination of the leased event all signs, advertisements, show-bills, lithographs, posters or
cards of any description, from the areas designated by the Facility Manager or a TNGT official staff person.
8. No performance, exhibition or entertainment shall be given or held in the leased space which shall be objected to by the Facility
Manager or a TNGT official staff person at any time and the Lessee hereby agrees to hold The New Gospel Temple harmless
from liability for any cancellation based on the objection to any performance deemed as publicly offensive and the decision
being final.
9. The New Gospel Temple reserves the right, through its Facility Manager, his representative or security officer, to eject any objectionable
person or persons from said building and upon the exercise of this authority, through its Facility Manager, his representative or security
officer, the Lessee hereby waives any right and all claim for damages, and agrees to hold The New Gospel Temple harmless
from any such liability or claimed liability and to indemnify and save TNGT harmless for all loss, cost and expense in this regard.
10. The authorized representative of the Facility Manager, his representative or security officer, may enter into, and on, all the Leased space
at any time.
11. The Lessee will observe all standing or seating capacities as set forth by TNGT.
12. All articles or equipment left in the building or on the premises after the leased function shall become the responsibility of the TNGT
to disperse as sees fit without accruing any liability from the Lessee or its representatives.
13. The Lessee agrees to pay to the reasonable attorney's fees when the services of an attorney are used in order to collect for
rental, service charges, or damages, or to enforce any agreement between the Lessee and The New Gospel Temple COGIC or any of the
foregoing rules and regulations.
14. In the event of any action or proceeding brought by either party against the other under this Lease Agreement, the prevailing party shall
be entitled to recover for the fees of its attorneys and costs and expenses related thereto in such action or proceeding in such amount as
the court may adjudge reasonable as attorneys' fees, costs and expenses.
15. The liability of any joint signatures or guarantors of this Lease Agreement shall be joint and several.
If Lessee is a partnership or corporation then each of the partners or shareholders in the partnership or corporation, as the case may be, and
their respective spouses shall execute personal guaranties for the obligations undertaken by the Lessee under this Lease Agreement.

TNGT/R &J BANQUET HALL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. No smoking is allowed inside or outside of the facility.
2. No alcohol is permitted inside or outside the facility, including the parking area.
3. The storage rooms are off limits to facility renters and guests.
4. Proper care must be used to avoid damages to the facility which includes the carpet, furniture,
equipment, fixtures of the facility and the entire building.
5. No tacks, glue, staples, or nails may be used to attach decorations or other materials in rented
areas.
6. Absolutely no guns or weapons are allowed on the premises.
7. No profanity (cursing) or riotous behavior allowed inside or outside of the facility.
8. Any music that does not uphold the witness of Jesus Christ and support the convictions of
Christian values is not allowed inside or outside of the facility.
9. If you require music for your event it must be discussed extensively upon signing this contract.
CLEAN-UP PROCEDURES
1. Keep all flammable (i.e., racks, pans and sterno) items on metal tables in the kitchen.
2. All decorations must be removed and properly disposed of by event end.
3. Helium balloons are to be taken outside and released. Do not puncture balloons anywhere inside
the building.
4. If glitter or confetti is used in decorating, please try to keep it off of carpeted areas.
5. Trash must be removed and properly disposed of in areas designated.
6. Kitchen must be returned to its original condition. Sweep if necessary.
7. Restrooms must be kept in sanitary conditions.
8. All spills must be cleaned up promptly, especially in the banquet and kitchen area.
9. Sidewalk areas and parking spaces in front of facility must be kept free of trash.
10.Beverage Service Area must be clean and free of trash.
11.Tables should be cleared of debris, including decorations.
I have read the rules, regulations, and clean up procedures. I fully understand and agree to each item

Please note: Upon meeting with potential renters The New Gospel Temple COGIC reserves the
right to reject any person/s not willing to adhere to the facility rules and regulations provided
throughout this facility rental contract.
