Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, Dear Brother/Sister in Islam, Alhamdullilah (Praise be to Allah) we have completed another successful year of delivering Qurban to the poor and needy across the globe. There has been a significant rise in the number of refugees fleeing conflicts, putting additional burden on host countries that are already deeply impoverished. The need for your assistance grows day by day as many individuals find themselves thrust into dire situations, facing starvation, dehydration, freezing nights and hot days without a place to call home. Your Qurban provided welcome relief to the many thousands of recipients who had not had the opportunity to enjoy a sustaining meal for a significant period of time. The recipients of your Qurban welcomed the 2018 Qurban Program with great appreciation and gratitude, especially in the remote and volatile areas that we distributed to Alhamdullilah (Praise be to Allah). Many people have made a lot of dua for you and for your family. Most of the recipients conveyed to us the fact that this is the only time of the year that they are able to enjoy the taste of fresh meat. This year we have noticed a great anticipation in the recipients as they were really in dire straits. Some of our distributers were met by large numbers of desperate individuals who travelled tens of kilometres to the distribution centres in great need of our assistance. This is evidence of the hard work of our volunteers and great improvement in the management and the efficiency of the Qurban distribution. Alhamdullilah (Praise be to Allah) we have also noticed the recipient’s gratefulness for our distribution of meat, particularly during the days of Eid.

Conclusion:

By the will of Allah, the 2018 Qurban Appeal was a great success reaching 25,563 beneficiaries regardless

of the challenges, dangers and struggles we faced. Alhamdullilah (Praise be to Allah) Qurban Foundation

prides itself on distributing quality Qurbans to all of our recipients during the festive days of Eid. This means

our recipients are able to enjoy their meat fresh (not frozen) even in countries like Lebanon and the Syrian

Refugee Camps hosted there. Some of these Qurbans are slaughtered, air-freighted from Australia and

distributed in record time. Qurban Foundation and Madina Halal Meats would like to thank you for your

continued support and participation of Qurban 2018. May Allah (SWT) reward you and multiply your deeds

and make you amongst those who he is pleased with. We would like to assure you that this program would

not be possible without your continued support. We ask Allah (SWT) to accept the prayers of all the

recipients who made dua for you as individuals and organizations and as the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

said in hadith:

“Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a similar reward.”
