Glue Scissors

Cut thin strips of colored paper.

Tightly roll up a strip.

Hold the tightly rolled strip for a moment and then let it loosen a bit.

Put a drop of glue at the end of the strip and hold into place.

When glue is dry, pinch the coil into shape

Once you've made a small bunch of these, the quills can be arranged to make designs. You can glue them onto cardstock to make cards or placecards.

Young people also have a great time making patterns with these.
