How do I access Red Book® Online?When your practice or institution subscribes to Red Book® Online, your access may be “authenticated” by your computer’s Internet address or your intranet. If you click Sign In on the upper right of the screen and see “Access Provided By:” followed by your organization’s name, your session is authenticated. If you have questions about how to access Red Book® Online through your organization’s subscription, please contact your librarian or administrator.

How do I use Red Book® Online?The quickest way to find content is via search. All content is easily accessible via the home page, the top navigation menu, and the footer links.

Should I sign in?Your access to the online site is provided through your organization’s preferred method. If you also sign in with your individual AAP Login while accessing the site license, you will then be able to 1) sign in remotely and 2) access the mobile app.

What if I don’t already have an individual AAP account? Click on Sign In, then click on Create account and follow the prompts.

How do I get the mobile app? The AAP Red Book® app features search, browse, and bookmarking of the full current edition of Red Book®, the Visual Library, and other key infectious disease resources.

• First download the free AAP Red Book® app from the iTunes App Store or Google Play.

• Then open the app and sign in with your individual AAP Login and Password to unlock the content. Depending on the speed of your network and device, the initial content download can take up to 10 minutes.
