Participants can either buy a portion of the project or have a monthly subscription. Community solar may be ideal for renters or homeowners whose home cannot accommodate solar panels. New Jersey Comfort PartnersThrough New Jersey’s Comfort Partners Program, income-eligible families may qualify for installation of energy efficiency measures free of charge. BPI GoldStar contractors install energy-saving measures at no cost to make homes more energy efficient. When you enroll in Comfort Partners, you’ll receive a personalized plan for your home to reduce energy bills through upgrades like energy-efficient lighting, thermostats, insulation, duct sealing, air sealing, or safety testing on your heating equipment. All these benefits are installed at no cost to you.

COOLAdvantage and WARMAdvantageProgramsHeating and cooling costs account for the largest portion of your energy bill. Replace your old heating, cooling, or water heating equipment with a high-efficiency model and get a rebate through NJCEP’s WARMAdvantage and COOLAdvantage programs. Replace both your furnace and/or boiler and water heater at the same time, and qualify for an added incentive!

Appliance RecyclingA $50 rebate is offered to residents who recycle their old, working refrigerators or freezers through New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program. You can also recycle an old, working room air conditioner or dehumidifier during the same pick-up and receive a $25 rebate for each.

INCENTIVESResidential New ConstructionHigh-performance energy-efficient homes are

built to save more energy than standard homes. They cost less to operate and lessen the impact of power generation on the environment.

Appliance RebatesEvery appliance comes with two price tags: the purchase price and the cost of operating the product. ENERGY STAR certified appliances help consumers save money on operating costs by reducing energy use without sacrificing performance.

Rebates are available to New Jersey residents who purchase qualifying ENERGY STAR certified refrigerators, clothes washers, clothes dryers, dehumidifiers, room air conditioners, and air purifiers.

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®

Improve the comfort, safety, and durability of your home with the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. You will work with Building Performance Institute (BPI) GoldStar contractors who will assess how and where energy is wasted in your home. You will receive a list of recommended, comprehensive energy-efficient upgrades, which could save you up to 30% on your home energy usage. Learn about money-saving improvements, such as insulation, air sealing, and high-efficiency heating and cooling systems. Incentives and low-interest financing are also available to help you get the work done.

ducts, inefficient equipment, poor insulation, and air leaks.
