The layout of the title is of a simple font however links to the Farnham college layout. Fitting to the conventions of a college magazine.

I learnt how to change the opacity of layers and edit shapes to be more interesting.

Here for the title I experimented with altering and downloading fonts suitable for my genre and added drop shadows within effects to add attention to detail.

For my text here I tried to incorporate the colour of the models jumper into the text colour however if I change the hue like on my final magazine it would have turned out to be more appealing.

In comparison to my plenary, I had chosen to frame my images so they stand out from the page using framing and selection. I did that with my lower left image and faded its background into a column of the same shade.

In comparison to my final magazine, this contents banner stands out due to the effects used. However for my magazine I used a colour replacement tool to inspire readers’ interest and to intertwine the colour scheme.

To allow my images and text to be in neat space columns I used a grid and worked out exact measurements in order to allow the page to look interesting but still remain neat and flowing.

In my final magazine I made a clear distinction between page numbers, titles and captions to match. Unlike my magazine the page numbers and such take up about two thirds of the page which is over cluttered.

The overall colour scheme of my plenary was bland. It worked together in its different shades but ultimately, I am pleased with how I combined pink, grey and blue as a color scheme in my final magazine. I am surprised with how the colours worked together and didn’t seem over cluttered.
