June 23 - July 3: "Pre-QUEST" Fellows Program - Work with other Princeton University students, master teachers from local schools and specialists on campus to learn the many facets of inquiry science and math instruction, literacy, special education and teaching strategies, assessment, and classroom management. A master in-service teacher will facilitate the "Pre-QUEST” and “Post QUEST" program. (We will not meet on July 4th.)

July 7 – July 18: QUEST Teachers’ Institute - QUEST is a science and math institute for elementary, middle and high school teachers taught by Princeton University faculty and staff, and scientists from neighboring institutions. It is designed to enhance teachers’ knowledge of science and math through hands-on experiments and field experiences, and to acquaint them with ideas and activities to use in their classrooms. During the institute, the QUEST fellows will work with a professor and a master teacher as part of the instructional team.  QUEST will include modules in Mathematics, Science & Children’s Literature, Oceans, Cosmology/Astronomy, Global Climate Change & Alternative Energy. You do not need expertise in these content areas to be a QUEST Fellow.

July 21 – August 1: Post-QUEST Fellows Program- Work with a master teacher and the other Fellows to develop lessons and/or assessments that you can use during student teaching or in the future.
